This property is maintained very well by Christine, who lives there for 18 years. There are 10 acres of land around the house on the top, and two "beef", one horse and two donkeys live together on the farm. We saw many kinds of plants there, like kiwifruit tree, cherry tree and even manuka tree (within which there are 9...

A beautiful country setting, warm welcome, very nice room and a lovely breakfast. We felt at home and Christine arranged breakfast (comprising anything you wanted) and its timing round us. A driveway narrow and twisting is worth it when you arrive and it opens out to lovely grounds and views.

My wife and I loved Christine's beautiful estate, her hearty breakfasts, and her advice about local activities and our drive to Wellington. It's a good idea to plan on some time touring the gardens, as you won't find better. Hope to return someday!

This is a really charming B&B set in the hills outside Rotorua. Christine Doolan welcomed us even thought she was in her wellies planting a row of white roses by the portico in front of the house. After a nice cup of tea and a chat, recommending sites to see and where to eat, we settled in. My wife went...

The best B&B we've had the pleasure of staying in. Christine, the owner, is personable, friendly, helpful, has great knowledge of the area and suggestions (likewise, too for places you might travel on to afterwards), and genuinely cares about the happiness of her guests. And did I mention she cooks a fabulous breakfast? Breakfast includes a different fruit salad every...

Had 2 nights here while we toured around Rotorua. It was delightful visiting with Christine, who knows the area very well and has a knack for conversation. I recommend this place. Breakfasts were both delicious and substantial.

Stayed a few nights at doolans and I highly recommend it. Christine is just awesome, always friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh everyday with self made jam and muesli. The garden is so pretty ad on rainy days you can hang out inside which is very relaxing and decorated with lots of love. Thank you christine for being such...

The three days we spent staying with Christine were a delight. A great hostess with tons of local knowledge and the ability to make you feel right at home. Throw in scenic views well when the weather wasn't wet and cloudy and the peace and quiet of her location it is an ideal place to unwind for a few days

I had a great week here. If you want to enjoy a quiet place with a great garden and a cosy five star accommodation this is the place to be. I stayed there for one week and I can really recommend this B&B!
