This is a delightful Homestay, where our host John met us, made us immediately comfortable, and was really helpful. The homestay itself has been beautifully restored, and is clean and comfortable; it feels very 'homely' and at peace with itself... you just relax and feel at ease as soon as you walk in. Facilities are fine, and while there was...

The house is beautiful and the room was a good size with very comfortable bed. The best bit about our stay was the host John, the best B&B host we've ever met and a truly wonderful man. Would recommend to everyone.

John Ballard bought Robertsons house 12 years ago and renovated it with a lot of love and attention for historic detail. The rooms are comfortable and John's hospitality is great. Rotorua is a perfect starting point to explore the many attractions in and surrounding this city. We were sorry to have only two days to spend there.

We stayed in Robertson House B&B for only one night....but it was a good night! John has created a very comfortable "home" for his visitors. The B&B has spacious rooms with comfy beds and beautiful antique furniture. The bathrooms have been remodeled and are very spacious. Johm provides a very cozy and plentiful breakfast. The highlight of the visit is...

John really made this stay special, we only stayed one night but would have loved to have stayed longer. The house is spectacular, a real period property. It is within easy walking distance of major points of interest in the town. John let us put the motorcycle in his garage for safe keeping. The room was cozy and finished to...

We were only there for one night, and that is a shame. John is a very helpful, gregarious, and caring host. He made the stay much more enjoyable than just a fine place to stay! The accommodations were classic B &B, with a Victorian house, tall ceilings, and original hardwood floors. However, John has updated several important items, such as...

Well situated in Rotorura, easy to get to everything, by short car journey, not in a smelly part of town. The owner John couldn't have been more helpful, he gave us a map with advice on good places to visit and eat. He took time to find out our plans and route before working out how we can best see...

The house is beautiful and the rooms are just as special and cozy as the rest. The breakfast is very good as well. The location is also good, and there is a lot to see nearby. The host is fantastic, open and helpful and a lot of fun! He even put an extra heater in our room because we were...

Nice stay in a breathtaking area (all the National Parks, landscapes and sorroundings are simply amazing!). You can be there for a week and it won't be enough for enjoy everything. The B&B was clean, with big rooms (and huge barthroom), a complete breakfast and a very nice and cooperative. He gave us very good advices!

John the owner is a colorful character! He greeted us very warmly in this beautiful colonial house and he has very good advice on trips to do and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable. No imperative schedule for breakfast, allowing to truly relax! Despite two days of intensive rain it was a pleasure to stay at the Robertson...
