We had a three bedroom cabin in the Kiwi Great Lake Holiday Park in Taupo. We were travelling with two couples and a senior so the three bedrooms were just what we wanted. The cabin had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. Great location to just out of the city centre. COLLEEN in reception was very helpful and friendly.

Excellent place to park up your campervan after a long trip on the road. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All the facilities were close to our powered site and all free to use (Kitchen, Toilets, Showers, lounge). We stayed here twice after leaving Auckland to Wellington and then back to Auckland. We will definitely be staying here on next...

kia Ora. We are from Singapore. 2 families drove from Auckland towards Queenstown. This holiday park is good for family holiday together. We got the whole 'house' to ourselves. The owners are very accomodating. Lovely couple. The beautiful view just behind the unit was a nice to see. There is a public toilet for us to use also although there...

I have been here twice now and both times my partner and I received amazing customer service from the works, who were always happy to help and were driven to give us the best time while we stayed. Kitchen, bathrooms and sites were extremely clean and the friendly atmosphere added to our peaceful getaway.

I stayed at the holiday park for 2 nights in March. On check-in the receptionist allocated me a powersite close to amenities as I was travelling on my own. The facilities were excellent - spotlessly clean. Kitchen utensils, saucepans, plates etc provided if needed and no requirement to leave a deposit to use these. Lounge area with TV and internet...

Lovely little campground, perfect for our self contained motorhome. Clean bathrooms, peaceful atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they weren't concerned that we left an hour after check out. It's a quiet campsite off the main road but still close enough to drive into town for a nice meal.

Next time ask us about the bar and restaurant just a 15 minute walk (1minute drive) from the park who offer can also off a courtesy drive home for your convenience.

Booked here back in January for our dates, we were shown our unit. Spouse is vision impiared, we had a disabled access unit. Really comfortable bed, unit was spotless, option to sit outside with provided picinic table. Best of all, NO ROAD NOISE! We will stay here again.

We booked a Deluxe cabin and it was great, clean, tidy, nice fresh linen and great facilities. Good hot showers in a nice clean shared bathroom area, BBQ's were clean. Shared kitchen area was in very good order and had lots of stuff to borrow if you didn't have your own.

Boring 70's style cabins Only stayed here as other places were booked. There's no excitement, nothing to do The maintenance man is very annoying sticks his nose in your business when you try to relax, and is mowing the lawns 24/7 so a lot of noise going on. You have to pay for everything, to use the oven, to use...

How could you possibly publish comments like this? According to one of your other reviews you are a resident of Taupo yourself and you seem to take pleasure in trashing the places you stay at and the restaurants you dine in. You are doing Taupo, its accommodation and its eateries a huge disservice by discouraging others from visiting our town....

We stayed here overnight in our camper van and it was a half hour walk to the lake, which was fine, with shops for rations along the way. Camp has lots of space and the shower block was immaculate with nice strong showers. Great kitchen facility with plenty of sinks for washing up.
