I ended up here as I booked late and was the only remaining accommodation for Easter weekend. When I first turned up was a bit confused as it's very much a motel however they have great dorm rooms with a choice of bunk or single bed depending who gets there first, I was lucky But as a backpacker a bunk...

We stayed in this hotel for three days, the people running the place could not have been any more helpful. Would stay there again, no worries at all, they told us the great places to eat and the bad, massive community kitchen and very central. Job well done with no effort.

Very friendly staff, welcoming and helpful. Recreational lounge room was large enough for our group but would've liked the pool table to be free for guests. Extra blankets, amazing pillows and extra towels really added to our experience here. Fantastic reception for the WIFI and a great price too. We felt that the shower pressure could've been better and somewhere...

My family and I stayed here for two nights. The location is very good.. only a few mins walk to get to Pack n Save and you can get to town centre within 10mins (walk). We had to use a cab one day because of the weather and it only costed us $6-7dollars.Very affordable! Our room was very clean and...

My wife and I stayed here for the two nights 3 days we were in Taupo, the location of the lodge is pretty good, just a few blocks away from the downtown area. Maybe a 10-15 minute walk tops. The lodge was clean and we did not have a single problem with noise from surrounding neighbors, granted we only had...

A bunch of friends stayed here for one night and we found the rooms to be large and extremely comfortable considering the price. The rooms have one queen size bed and an additional single bed so three people can easily stay in one room! Overall highly recommended!

I and my friend stayed there for one night in April 2012. The hotel was very quiet that time. They let us look the room first before we checked in. We stayed in a 4person shared room where there was no one else. The toilet and bathroom was very clean. The kitchen has lots of crockeries to cook your own...

We had arranged this accommodation 6 months ago due to the busy time of the year. We were a hens party of 14 people all of whom were 30+ professionals, which we had clearly addressed when booking (and the several times we reconfirmed). Upon arrival we were immediately confronted with aggressive staff stating they didn't accommodate hens parties. They did...

Thank you for your review. Sorry if you thought we were abrupt but when one of your group told us that they had booked and there was nothing we could do about it we had to point out a few conditions as our other guest's comfort comes 1st. Not Hen parties as stated on our web page. As you can...

With so many choices in Taupo, this is a safe bet...I was worried at first after checking in when there were scores of 20-somethings wondering around the halls with beers with loud music blasting out of their dorm rooms...like a flashback of my freshman year in college...was dreading an obnoxious stay...however, all the guests were considerate of others in the...
