We stayed for 2 nights over easter weekend. The staff very friendly & helpful the rooms clean with comfy bed's dishwasher & washing machine/dryer (this takes hours to wash & dry clothes). Great central location just a walk to anywhere. Have 3 complaints the no aircon those rooms get really stuffy & we found it really noisey take earplugs as... More

Fairly centrally situated with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, as well as the bars by the harbourside. Easy walking distance to the Te Papa museum. Lucky enough to get one of the hotel's few car parking spaces. Room was clean and tidy and remarkably quiet.

We booked to see a show while needing to drive into town from Kapiti Coast, didn't fancy late night drive through traffic, so booked a place that looked good on the net. For a change this place exceeded expectations, great value for money, very central, decor first class, clean and tidy and staff that proved very helpful. What more could... More

Good position in the city and looked clean and neat. Grand descriptions of the impeccably designed studios, BUT .... On entering the heat hit us. Like a sauna and we couldn't find air con, only a pedestal fan. Asked at reception and were advised to leave the balcony door locked partially open. The sliding door to balcony being open didn't... Thank you for your comments. I'll have our housekeeper check the cutlery thank you for letting me know. Unfortunately we do not currently have air conditioning which is unfortunate as Wellington has turned on a fantastic summer. Although the bite of winter is definitely on its way. Great location handy to the bar and restaurant area, and not far to shopping Clean, though bathroom could do with a spruce up Marked as average due lack of air conditioning (couldn't believe it in this day and age!), meant having the balcony door open and thus enduring street noise. Also balcony easily accessible from adjoining balconies Was busy weekend... More

My wife and I and our son stayed on Saturday for a weekend visit. The room layout was EXCELLENT in terms of value for money (2 separate bedrooms) and layout. However, we were surprise it had no air-conditioning and it was very hot - unpleasant in the room. They supplied two fans, both with short leads and one was so... More

Thank you for your comments. Air conditioning is something that would like to see change in our next refurbishment. Wellington generally is not that hot however we have had a fantastic summer so far. It sound like you enjoyed the city. There is plenty to keep you occupied in Wellington. Kind regards Tony Hotel Manager More

I was put on to this hotel by a friend who stayed regularly and now I can see why. Located in Tory St it is a short 50m stoill down to Courtenay Place which is the hub of the Wellington restaurant and bar scene so exceptionally handy. It a serviced apartment hotel so I expected the room to be of... More

These are comfortable self contained apartments. We had upgraded to a one room courtyard view apartment and had a washer dryer and even a little dishwasher drawer. Courtyard view was a bit of a misnomer as the view was actually straight into the windows of the next door backpacker hostel! Because of this one had to make sure the net... More

I have never written a negative review but as the staff paid scant attention to my issue .....here it is. We paid a lot to stay here to see the Military Tattoo in Wellington. The room itself was sold as compact and at the back. We were OK with this as all we needed it for was sleep. The room... More

Thank you for your comments. As with many of the city hotels we are surrounded by building the car park being one of them. We do have security bolts on the doors to enable them to be left partially open during the night if required. Our city view rooms do have a better outlook over Tory Street and look out... More
