Stayed a couple of nights and found everything to be spot on. Cottage was beautifully presented, stylish and well equipped. Friendly and accommodating hosts. Location is a real plus, hardly used the car all weekend and the walk down Cuba street always gave us plenty to see and imbibe. Will definitely be the first place I look for accommodation next...

we stayed 2 nights. It is a very cute little cottage with a parking space right in the heart of Wellington. The place is clean and well furnished. It is few seconds walk from Cuba Street but quiet. The only thing is the TV is very small (never seen a TV so small :-) )

Thank you for your feedback. Sorry you found the TV too small - it is a compromise between having a large screen and losing valuable space. Most folk are out and about enjoying Wellington so arent too worried about the TV size.

The location in upper Cuba street was perfect for us. The historic cottage has been tastefully restored to a modern spacious one bedroom apartment while retaining touches of the original character. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a dish drawer. The bathroom is well appointed. And the bed is comfortable.

Thanks for your review. We often get great feedback about our beds - the most important feature of the cottages!

The cottage was immaculately presented with lots of lovely little touches. The location was central which meant we could walk everywhere making the free parking at the cottage extremely handy. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Thank you for your review. The kitchen and the private garden is unusual for inner-city tourist accommodation - pleased you enjoyed it.

We had a lovely 5 day stay at the City Cottages. The cottage had everything we needed, was within easy walking distance of the city centre and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We definitely would book again and would recommend to others.

City Cottages delivers a unique Wellington experience by letting you stay in a modern set dwelling, clad in a city style heratage building. Cosy, warm and inviting you can feel Wellingtons beating heart at the end of the driveway. Relaxation is guaranteed when staying in a City Cottage. 100% recommend this experience to every visitor to this city.

We stayed for 3 nights in Januaury - the cottage was easy to find just off the top of Cuba street and it was set back enough from the road so that it was quiet and felt like a little oasis in the middle of the city! The cottage was perfect for a couple, open plan but the bedroom could...

A bach is NZ term for a holiday cottage and the name derives from "bachelor" although this place would be equally suitable for a small family. It is a charming, historic and immaculately renovated little house with free parking. It located very near a really cool street but it is quiet. It is surprisingly roomy inside with all the finest...

This has to be the best place to stay in Wellington. Tonks Grove is just off Cuba Street, couldn't be better located for exploring the city, for a great range of interesting shops and variety of eating places. We stayed in no.5: everything we could possibly want neatly fitted into a beautifully renovated cottage. Spotlessly clean, excellent shower, comfortable beds....

Thanks for your review. Free parking is a rarity in Wellington - and especially important as you wont need to use your car as most places are easily walked.
