Could not find fault - perfect. The cottage was clean, homely and warm. It was in an excellent location just off of Cuba Street. Arriving and departing was trouble free. I would recommend this cottage to anyone.

Great location. Good for small family for couple of nights. Something a bit different to the standard old hotel chain rooms. Will look at staying here again on our next visit. Bed was really comfortable and kids found sofa bed and stretcher bed comfy too.

Its been a few years since we last stayed there but it is still as gorgeous, spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed, great water pressure, lovely to have biscuits coffee and tea bags sugar and milk provided. Free WIFI. Very handy to walk down Cuba Street to all of the restaurants, cafes and shops. Dean knew we were arriving late so...

Thanks for staying with us again! The heat pumps were installed this year and are proving valuable during our cool summer.

I love a boutique hotel, and the cottage we stayed in was absolutely lovely, with all the home comforts, including a lovely biscuit to have with a cup of tea on arrival. There was plenty of room for our family of 4, the kids sleeping on a double mattress on the floor, which was made up for our arrival. Beautifully...

This was a great option for our family stay as we were able to socialise in the cottage space for breakfast then quick walk to the city for the day activity's. Easy access and flexible with entering and parking our car. Will definitely stay again

Thanks for staying with us. We are finding lots of families are staying with us and booking both cottages, especially in summer when they can dine 'al fresco'.

Always great to stay here when I get to Wellington, and the inclusion of the amazing massage from Dean is fantastic. The Cottage is walking distance to most attractions, or you just rest up in the privacy of the Cottage. Lots of great restaurants close by and some fabulous bars too. Looking forward to my next stay guys.

Exactly as advertised, great attention to detail, carpark is a bonus. The key lock is easy but the code easy to crack. Hope Jeff changes it regularly. The electric bed was just great, the biscuits and other small welcome gestures made us feel welcome.

Thanks for your review. I didn't realise we had a code cracker staying! A new door code is provided to each guest by email before their stay. We choose codes which are easy to remember but also ensures that the cottage is secure. The cottages have been operating with this system for more than 6 years - and so far...

Fantastic location with lots of amazing restaurants nearby. It was a great location for Wellington on a plate and Beervana. Perfect for a couple. Owners very easy to deal with. Clean and tidy with everything you need. Thank you for having us!

This was great accommodation. It was very clean and tidy and in a fantastic location if you want to explore the restaurants on Cuba street and central Wellington. They were really accommodating towards us. Would definitely stay there again.

Great style and feel in a brilliant location. There are not many places right downtown Wellington that you can wake up to the view of kowhai, cabbage trees and tuis. Upper Cuba is going crazy with new places and City Cottages provides an oasis of serenity while being right in the middle of it all.

Thanks for your review. Upper Cuba Street is a buzzy part of town and we love having a little oasis with native trees (Kowhai and Cabbage Trees) and native song birds (Tui) in our garden.
