We stayed at Acorns for only one night during our recent trip to Wellington. The accommodations were great - in a pleasant Wellington neighborhood, a tremendous amount of privacy for a bed and breakfast, well-appointed and clean with incredibly gracious hosts. We had only two disappointments - we didn't pick the room with the views of the bay and we...

We stayed two nights at Acorns and had a wonderful experience. Beautiful, comfortable, clean rooms with everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday stay. Delicious fresh breakfast and treats were provided in our room. We traveled with an infant and they provided a port-a-cot for the baby. Emily and Tim are superb hosts, offering great recommendations of nearby...

This is the second time I have stayed at Acorns. As soon as I walked in I knew there was a good reason for my return - personal, but discreet, hospitality from wonderful owners Emily and Tim; an extremely well-appointed room with every amenity you need; pristinely clean with lovely linen and fluffy white towels in the bathroom; fresh fruit,...

Acorns is very worthy of all the positive reviews at has received. From arrival to departure Emily and Tim are kind, welcoming and considerate to their guests needs, and go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The suites are beautifully presented, and supplied with everything you could possibly need. Breakfast is a treat of home made...

Self contained luxury B&B accommodation mins away from restaurants and the airport. Very comfortable and very welcoming, great for 1 night or many more. Home baked treats await you, along with fresh bread and fruit salad. Very comfortable room with excellent bed and private court yard. Highly recommend

We had the Pohutukawa room which is a studio with kitchenette. We were in Wellington for an over night trip from Christchurch and decided to try this B&B out. This B&B run by Tim and Emily is awesome. Very nicely appointed room and private bathroom. You will find fresh fruit cups, yogurt, milk, juice, jams, and butter in the fridge....

We wanted a BnB a short distance from the airport as we had a very early morning international flight and this could not have been more prefect! Our only regret is that we couldn't have a leisurely breakfast and enjoy the beautiful homemade goodies on offer - fresh fruit and yoghourt with orange juice, toast, tea and fresh coffee, though...

Elegant, comfortable, spotlessly clean, great location in a quite part of Wellington with the sea at the end of the road and a host that provided all you could want when you're away from home. Breakfast supplies were delicious and loved the homemade bikkies! Emily was kind enough to pack our breakfast in take away containers on our last morning...

Due to a mechanical error with the Interislander Ferry, we arrived quite late (or should I say early in the morning) at this B&B. When you're late and tired, it's nice to come "home" to a cozy place. We had the bedroom downstairs which faces the street, but it's situated on a quiet street that we didn't hear any noise...

This was a great place to stay in the middle of our 3 week tour of New Zealand. The laundry was invaluable at this stage of the journey. It was lovely and comfortable and it was nice to have our own personal space as opposed to another hotel room. Emily and Tim were so helpful giving us local advice. The...
