It's close to the town centre so you don't need to use transport unless going further afield. We weren't very impressed the the restaurant so went into town to eat. I wouldn't stay there again but that is my personal choice. There were no cooking facilities in the room which i probably the norm with Hotels. I like to be...

This is not a bad plac to say, but we were a little disappointed. On the plus side, the hotel is beautifully situated in the heart of Wellington CBD. The staff were efficient, helpful, and charming. The room was clean, and the bed was king size and comfortable. On the minus side, the room was quite small. We had requested...

Stayed 2 nights during school holidays. Great base for the walk to Te Papa via pedestrian Cuba St. When we ate breakfast in then restaurant (which was delicious and there is a fabulous view) the kids aged 13 and 14 ate free. Set us all up for a day exploring. Minor comments about the room: it was comfortable enough but...

I stayed at this hotel 3 weeks before the latest time and the staff were so helpful and genuinely seemed to enjoy working there. This time when I arrived a Trainee served me. She didn't smile, welcome me as a Platinum member, she just seemed to be in a hurry to get rid of me. What did annoy me was...

This hotel has seen better days are really is due for a refresh. The hotel room is clean, the bed an linens are new, but it had one of the most dated bathrooms I have ever encountered in a hotel. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was adequate. If you are staying for a night it will be fine....

Excellent service, very accommodating when wanted to make a change of room. It's nice to be out of the CBD. Look forward to staying there again. Reasonably priced and close to everything. Parking is a bit tight. Great views of the city.

Our room was fine but this property would best be viewed as best for a stopover, rather than for an extended stay. The Reception experience could still best be described as perfunctory. The Hotel still seems a bit out of the way in terms of location, perched as it is on a hillside well above the commercial precincts of Willis...

I pledge never to stay in a Mercure Hotel again! What a dreadful place this is. I traveled to Wellington to stay for one night with my teenager daughter to visit the university campus.
