We spent 3 nights here. Wellington had only just survived a devastating earthquake, so in general the City was in a state of disruption. This did not affect our stay here though. The Suite we enjoyed had full kitchen, laundry and separate bedroom. The beds were extremely comfortable. The lounge area was comfortable and spacious. The staff were professional and... More

On Friday the 3rd of December around 9pm my wife and I plus around 57 other guests were evacuated from the Hotel over the road from the Bolton due to a Fire in the Kitchen (which we found out later) after standing outside on the footpath nearby a staff member from the hotel we were staying at said that we... We had a great experience staying at the Bolton Hotel. We had one of the Premier Suites, which was very spacious and included a large kitchen and separate living area. The room had an iPad that can be used to request services, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Wifi was included and worked well. The hotel is conveniently... More

Thank you for your review Anthony, Glad you liked the iPad in the room - something we are constantly working on to improve the in room experience. Part of ensuring it all works well is our new dedicated 250GB wifi. An upgrade from 50GB just to ensure our guests stay connected. The dryer/washer does take a bit of experience to... More

I stayed in a suite with full kitchen facilities, lounge/dining area and separate bedroom. From the moment I arrived I found every single staff member friendly and helpful. A lot of 5 star hotels tend to have programmed staff with no personality. I felt very at home here and will always stay at The Bolton when visiting Wellington. The room... More

When my wife and I walked into the hotel, it was a stroke of luck that we ran into the Air New Zealand flight crew that were on our flight. We were informed that I had left my iPad on the plane and that's it was handed into lost and found. After we checked into the hotel, Robert at the... More

We stayed at the Bolton Hotel for 2 nights. The staff were very helpful and professional. Our room was large with a kitchenette & clean. Unfortunately we didn't put the blind up whilst we were there as we were looking straight into a building construction, we had no view at all from our room on the 4th floor. unfortunately the... I have been in touch with Bolton Hotel before I wrote this. We were reimbursed for our cold breakfasts. The staff at reception were not at all helpful, this is being looked into. The room on the 13th floor, not nice or clean. The 14th floor, lovely. Unfortunately not 5 star for us and I wouldn't stay again, but do... More

My wife and I were here traveling during the recent earthquake. The hotel staff were very accomodating and listened to everyones concerns and even came outside with blankets and water when we were waiting to make sure the hotel was safe. Aside from all of that the rooms were spacious and very clean. The service in general was very professional... More

Use to stay here a lot - however there room rates went past my budget allowed accommodation allowance. Restaurant & food was amazing. Rooms always very clean & of a good size. Loved the pool & spa. Staff were always friendly & very professional as you would expect from a Hotel with this rating. Corporate cabs were generally readily available... More
