I stayed here as part of a Contiki tour, and shared a room with three other people. The room fit us all in comfortably, although there wasn't masses of space! Every time I went out the bathroom, I managed to walk into the desk and I ended up with a huge bruise on my thigh! (Although this says more about...

Here for one night. Comfortable, clean room. Ate at the hotel. Bar food and a drink was just right . Helpful staff . In the centre of town but we didn't really go far as late when we arrived and pouring with rain. Would be a good place to stay if we were going to be here longer and exploring...

Nice boutique hotel in city center. Staffs were helpful with our situation on the parking of our big van. If only the weather was nice, we would have been able to explore more of the city and spend more nights there.

on the main street to get to the shopping outlets and you can walk to pretty much anywhere from there. The rooms are tidy and have all the amenities for a quick stopover. Hotel had free wifi which made it easy to contact family back overseas. Would stay again.

The Mercure Able Tasman is located on busy Willis Street, on the edge of the CBD. It's possible to walk to just about anything on the tourist trail. Heavy rain fell during the four days we spent in Wellington, so we were able to dash to a shop, museum or gallery, get wet, get dry inside, and dash back to...

We booked a Suite, which was quite spacious and two rooms. However, it was also on the corner of two loud streets. The windows provided no sound insulation and there was no air conditioning in the room. They did provide a rotating fan which helped. The hotel is in need of a refresh. It is very central to the business...

The ambiance is not right. Also caught by surprise that I needed a NZD 2 dollars coin to make use of the PC in the lobby. It' not the case in other Mercure, Ibis & Pullman I stayed in the past 1-2 years. The Ibis Wellington also provided free PC in its lobby.

We always enjoy staying at Mercure hotels, this is the first time at the Abel Tasman. It was a pity that that on the second day/evening they were understaffed, due I believe to illness. We waited for 50 minutes for our meal, only ordered a main course, mine excellent, my wife's so/so an antipasto platter, which unfortunately was not true...

Thank you for your feedback. Your feedback is helpful and appreciated. I sincerely apologise with the delay with your meal. I note your comments regarding the gaming room. Unfortunately the laws have changed and we are unable to open the side entrance under the new laws. Your feedback helps make a difference and is very valued. Kind Regards Jody Dickinson...

We got a deal and spent 2 nights there, requested a queen bed with a single and a cot as well. Arrived there and everything was done as per our request. The hotel is a bit old but room were clean and bathroom too. There was no fan in the bathroom so it smelled humidity and when you are 3...
