My friends and I were almost scared off by some of the previous reviews, but since almost every other hostel was full the night we needed a place we ended up booking at Nomads. We also ended up being pleasantly surprised. The staff was nice and helpful, our room and bathrooms on our floor were all very clean. One of...

They charged me 56$ for a bed in an 8 bed dorm. Doubling the prices when city gets booked out...very commercially oriented hostel company. Will try to avoid them during my next destinations. Ventilation very poor, warm bad air jn the room. Cheap metal bunk beds. Showers clean but simple plastic cubes. The famous *rofl* free pancakes in the morning...

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review, Our pricing is inline with all other accommodation providers in Wellington. Being in a bigger dorm having more guests in the room does make the rooms warmer our smaller dorms are coolers with less guests staying in them. We do offer free wifi to all guests if they...

Dirty, noisy and with a few homeless permanently at the hall. I'd say that for that price you will always have better options (YHA, for instance). Two stars because of the good location, close to the museum and Cuba street.

I stayed as a business traveller in one of the private rooms as hotels were full in Wellington. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cover your basics. I like their idea of free snack dinner and happy hour drinks in the bar next door - brilliant idea and the free snack dinner was actually quite nice. It was a 'snack'...

Hi, thank you for taking the time to write us a review, we do agree our bigger dorms having more guests in there can be on the warmer side we do suggest to use our en suite dorm rooms as there is more air flow therefore cooler, being a heritage building does restrict us from what we can do with...

A great hostel in the heart of Wellington cbd and shopping district. It's just around the corner from Cuba street-- infamous street for shopping and eating in Wellington. Great city with lots of character. If you're a foodie it's the place for you. Rooms and facilities were great value for price too. Would stay here again happily.

This hostel is brilliantly located right in the centre of Wellington with everything in easy walking distance. We got the bus from the airport which dropped us off only a 5 minute walk from the hostel and when we came to leave we got an uber to the interislander ferry terminal. The room was clean enough although we did find...

I stayed at Nomads in Wellington in November of last year for two nights. I found the hostel to be incredibly uncomfortable and an all-around unpleasant experience. Despite the 24-hour staff at the desk, I found that the toilets and showers were always smelly and gross. I feel that regular rounds should be made to check the cleanliness of these...
