There were 3 adults sharing the barn for 3 nights over new year. We found Peter our host to be very helpful and considerate. The fridge was stocked with all our breakfast needs, including juice milk tea and coffee. There was a fruit bowl on the table with hand picked produce from the farm. The two bedrooms each with an...

Very comfortable loft equiped with all the necessary amenities (and more). The two king size beds are very comfortable. Kitchen was nicely stocked with fresh coffee, fruit and breakfast items as bacon and eggs. Extremely friendly and welcoming hosts Peter and Trish Taylor! Our stay with them made our trip to the Marlborough region a great success!

Comfortable and cosy accommodation perfectly situated in the heart of the Marlborough wine region's Golden Mile. Very friendly and attentive hosts. The home cooked breakfasts were a highlight and the laundry facilities came in handy on our tour of the region. Fresh fruit from the orchid and a beautiful property topped off our pleasant stay.

Ok, I don't want to be too negative as the hosts were very welcoming and pleasant. However, we stayed in the semi-detached cottage, which was a room attached to the main house with a private entrance. The room did not particularly feel very private, however as I could hear the TV in the adjoining room of the house. The setting...

We were on a trip with my partner's parents and were looking for somewhere special to stay in Marlborough. Vineyard accommodation can be very expensive and difficult to get. Somehow everyone had overlooked this cherry orchard, set amongst countless vineyards, and we were extremely pleased with our stay. The surrounding gardens were lovely, the location perfect for visiting some fantastic...

Wonderful setting on a fruit farm with welcoming hosts who are full of good advice about visiting the area. Cozy room with ensuite. Delicious breakfast to be prepared with the added delight of some of the wonderful fruit produced on the farm. A bonus is that one can walk across the fields to one of only two wineries that does...

My husband and I stayed at the Ryland Estate a few days on our honeymoon. The Taylors were very welcoming. They gave us suggestions, allowed us to use their bicycles, and provided us with a delicious and hearty breakfast every morning. Their grounds are lovely and the fruits (and hommeade jams) were delicious. They were also able to accomodate to...

Ryland was very helpful when booking from the UK. The accommodation was first class and immaculately presented including; quality ingredients for a full breakfast, freshly cut flowers in the lounge and an extensive book collection to browse. The location, situated in beautiful gardens and surrounded by the tranquil cherry orchard, was perfect. They also reserved Christmas lunch for us at...

I got referred to Ryland Estate from a neighbor. The owner was truly helpful. Gave us a nice bottle of wine while we were getting settled in. He discussed various restaurant options and made reservations for us. Made us great breakfasts each day and regaled us with interesting stories. It was a great place to relax in the wine country!...

We spent 3 nights at Ryland Estate in the Barn apartment. First of all, the B&B is very well located ; walking distance from the great Herzog Winery and a short drive from all the others. The garden is gorgeous and the place is very quiet ! Perfect for relaxing. The barn apartment is very well furnished and equipped. The...
