The Marlborough Lodge, originally built in 1901 as a convent was completely refurbished in 2016 and is now a Luxury Lodge opening in 2017 offering 10 elegant suites over two floors each with private modern en-suites with full bathtubs and walk in showers. The Marlborough Lodges decor now highlights some of its beautiful historic features and mixes those with a contemporary design creating a warm and inviting private haven for you to call home whilst exploring the Marlborough region. Surrounded by the world-famous Marlborough vineyards, it is just 10 minutes from Blenheim Airport and 15 mins from the township of Blenheim making this the ideal location to experience the world renowned wines of Marlborough and then just 20 mins away is the beautiful Marlborough Sounds where you will find largely uninhabited waterways with secluded coves and native bush running to the waters edge. With an array of marine life such as dolphins, seals and an abundance of birdlife and the hiking trail on the Queen Charlotte Track here, this may just be the highlight of your holiday. Omaka Aviation Centre with its Peter Jackson collection of World War I and II aircraft and memorabilia is on the edge of Blenheim township and there is also a wide array of excellent artisan producers and artists providing you with much to see and do whilst staying with us. We offer a full Concierge service, bkfast daily, pre dinner drinks/canapes served by the beautiful our door fireplace, in house dining at our Harvest Restaurant, featuring an a la carte menu showcasing the excellent produce of the region, turndown service which is all included in our half board tariff. There is also a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces for guests to relax and enjoy as well as walking trails through the gardens and vineyards that surround the Lodge and beautiful birdsong from sun up to sun down. A heated swimming pool, complimentary bikes, tennis courts & racquets, pentanque and croquet are all on property and complimentary. Fabulous luxury lodge set in the middle of Marlborough’s wine Region. Samantha, the manager, is a master administrator and Lindsey oversees the restaurant operation. Food and wine match the 5-star nature of the lodge itself.

We were lucky enough to stay in this beautiful hotel in July of this year. The location was perfect for our day trips(self driving). I can not praise the staff enough for their genuine hospitality & professionalism. The rooms are a generous size & tastefully decorated. Chef made sure we were never hungry, all in all a perfect stay.

Such a Stunning, beautiful property - a fantastic addition to Marlborough! I had an incredible experience in the restaurant - everything from the elegant, polished surroundings to the delicious, thoughtful food and first rate service. Highly recommend the aperitif outside in the garden by the open fire. Well done Angela, Samantha and team!

The Marlborough Lodge is just amazing ! Wonderful room with a perfect bedding. Huge bathroom. Refined decoration. The convent, separate from the the main premise, is a unique place to have an appetitive before the diner. Very nice and professional staff. Interesting wien list. A place to be in the Marlborough Region.

My husband booked us here as a treat whilst traveling around the area. It was a truly lovely stay. We wish we booked longer! The staff is brilliant and friendly - always smiling and quick to offer anything we might have needed. The property - WOW! It is incredibly well cared for and decorated to be current whilst maintaining the integrity and the history of the building (a challenge few people get spot on - they do!) . We will surely be back - hopefully when it is warmer so we can take advantage of the pool and more outdoor activities. Still well worth the stay in the offseason - the wineries are still open in June!
