Ann & Ron were wonderful hosts who made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The gardens are also to die for, even in bad weather (which we had while there). Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful, secluded place to stay.

The B&B is in Rolleston an area which is going to become another city in the foreseeable future. Cedar Park has fantastic gardens (a lot of locals have had their weddings there). Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast great. We were offered cooked breakfast but chose cereal etc and the etc was out of this world.

What a beautiful place to stay, the room was spacious with very comfy beds. The hosts Anne & Ron were very very helpful esp on how to get to certain places and even providing maps. After waking up and opening the curtains to see such a beautiful garden was lovely and then to receive a hearty breakfast was a dream

Very comfortable accommodation set in lovely gardens, the hosts are great hospitable people who will make you feel at home and provide you with sound advice on local attractions . Breakfast was excellent . Being a quiet base close to Christchurch and convenient for visiting the Akaroa area Cedar Park deserves more than a one night stop over.

We found Cedar Park Gardens so good we went back twice! Ron and Anne were a great introduction to New Zealand hospitality. We were booked in for two nights originally, booked another night before beginning our tour of New Zealand and then came back and spent the last two nights before our flight home. Our room was spotless and felt... More

First visit to Christchurch and you really do need GPS to locate it - beautiful gardens and although the room was not particularly big it was fine. Unfortunately the bathroom was a walk along the corridor but we never met anyone else on the way! Very friendly hosts and it was a delight to wander around the gardens. Breakfast was... More

Cedar Park Gardens was our first accommodation during our three-week trip around the South Island of New Zealand. When we left, we told Ron and Anne that they had set a very high standard that we doubted any other b&b on our trip could meet. That remark proved to be prescient. We just returned to the U.S. and during our... More

Ron and Ann are wonderful and genuine hosts. We were enroute from Kaikoura to Mount Cook and chose this as a good half way stop. The 1.5 acre garden is so well kept and to a truly professional standard, I could have sat in it for hours. The ensuite bedroom (2 good sized doubles) was comfortable with fridge, tea, coffee and...
