Stayed 2 nights, quite dated but still standing. It's what you would expect from a YMCA Had my own room -shower,toilet, tv, fridge,coffee and tea making. Really good and effecent staff. My room had missing blinds, and could do with double glazing as street noise...More

Not very good value for money at all, we paid $33 for a 4 bed 'bunk' dorm whilst another friend of ours paid $32 for a 3 bed single dorm?! One kitchen for the whole hostel is not fun at all especially with one fridge!...More

Ideal location, right next to the botanic gardens and museum and a very short walk to all other sights and restaurants. I doubt you could find accomodation in a better location within Christchurch than the YMCA. Fabulous coffee downstairs at Robert Harris cafe. We stayed...More
