There was NOBODY telling me they only accept cash until the last night. The next day, I had to check out very early to walk to catch the coach, carrying my luggage. It was dark night and the surrounding area is famous for high rates of violent crimes during the night. The owner forced me to walk across the red...

We only stayed here for one night, but it was a lovely little hostel, with a big double bedroom and a gorgeous cat! The kitchen was really big and the bathrooms were fine, although the power in the shower was a bit rubbish. The living room was lovely and cozy, with a good selection of books and games. Would definitely...

Amazing, small hostel with nice rooms, kittchen and a grumpy but lovely cat. Staff is very friendly and always up for a chat, cooking or having a wine (or two) together. The whole atmosphere makes you feel very welcome and kind of like at home. I stopped there on four different occasions and always enjoyed my stay!

Cozy, little, homey hostel which feels much more like a shared flat than a regular hostel, as the max number of beds in a room is 3. The rooms are all decorated very homely. The staff is very caring and friendly and provides good insider tips about what to do in Christchurch and around. City Center is at walking distance...

We spent five days there, where we also bought a camper van, time for us to prepare it for road trip around the country. We were there like at home, in the house nearby. The people there are nice and helpful. It's was a pleasant moment. Thanks to all or us.

Nice and quite place to stay. definitely I recommend the place to my friends. The only thing which bothers me is I have to pay $4 per day for the internet, which is bit expensive for a back packer. Cheers

I arrived here on the first of January, all the other hostel in town were too busy, they did all they could for let me stay as long as I needed. The staff is unbelievable friendly and doesn't take long to feel part of the family. The rooms are really cozy and always clean, same for the toilet and the...

Stayed in a shared room good for 3 person for 1night before going to Queenstown, left my luggage at the hostel and returned after 5days and stayed for another 2nights before flying to Sydney. Pros: - very clean hostel - single bed not bunk - staff are super friendly and helpful - free breakfast (bread, eggs, etc.) - electric blanket...

This is the perfect, small hostel. I stayed in the three bed share. The beds were comfy with mattress heaters! Extension cord provided so plenty of outlets. Kitchen was well equipped and had large dining table. The lounge had plenty of comfortable seats and got great sunlight. The staff were friendly and informative on things in Christchurch. It's about a...
