Surprisingly quiet being situated on Riccarton Road, the Apollo was clean and spacious for a small unit. Prices were great for the quality and the design of the building it was quite different but nice. The beds are comfortable and the service was great.

We stayed for two nights and were in the accessible unit which is small, and adjoining the managers garage which is open during the day and unsightly. On both nights had to deal with bathroom floods due to showerhead malfunctions and the bathroom layout. There is also a venetian blind behind the bed which you cannot avoid. Location is good,...

We arrived at Christchurch airport from Australia and picked up a car. This motel, like many others is within 10 mins drive from the airport. The room was very clean with the usual kitchen facilities. The bathroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Free wifi but for only one computer per room and 500mb max per day. The capacity...

Used this motel for a one night stay in Christchurch. We checked in a little later than we had arranged - our host didn't bat an eyelid. He was welcoming and friendly on a dark, stormy night. Room was huge with everything we needed, and very clean. Great location and easy to find. I thought the value for money was...

There are many, many choices for lodging near the Apollo Motel, yet we were highly satisfied with our decision to trust the TripAdvisor reviewers and stay there. We stayed for a night at the beginning and end of our trip, relaxed knowing that we had such a nice place to sleep and get organized before leaving NZ. The kitchen was...

Stayed here for 2 nights for a friends wedding, we stayed in a one bedroom apartment unit and this was a nice size, we didn't use the cooking facilities as we were out most of the time. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Service was great, I only booked for 2 nights instead of 3, they had no more vacancy...

This is the first of 6 months I will be staying here due to my work in Christchurch. I have a 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor and so far I'm happy with things. For those arriving from the airport, this is very convenient as it is located on a busy road into town, but not a great deal...

Nice motel with good sized room. WE only spent a few hours here, as were flew out of Christchurch in the wee hours of the morning. But the bed was comfortable and its location was good as several eateries were within walking distance from it. Unfortunately, the terrible weather that blew in, meant that getting to said eateries was distinctly...

“Room 4 review for limited mobility travellers: Small sloping metal hob around the very large shower (about 1 or 2 cm high). There is a small fold down seat in the shower. The sinks in the bathroom and the kitchen are regular height. There is a rail on the right side of the toilet. If you have a walking frame or wheelchair you would need someone to hold the front door open for you as it is a heavy fire door. The table, chairs and luggage rack would need to be removed from the room if you were using a wheelchair inside the room. With a walking frame, you might just fit between the table and the bed but I doubt it.”
