First time in this pub. Met some friends after work. Relaxed atmosphere. Good music. Good selection of beers. Outdoor area and lots of seating. Pool table. Great place for after work drinks. Very casual and has that old English pub kind of feel.

Awesome B&B with cute rooms and heated bathroom floors. Free tea and coffee combined with a great brekky at a local cafe all included for great value. The pub next door is a great spot too. Wifi was spotty but totally forgivable given that everything else was delightful

Without doubt the best place we stayed in a four week holiday taking in four countries. Excellent room (we stayed in the Canterbury Room) with a large bathroom and comfy beds. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the food and drink at the pub and cafe next door were brilliant. If you're heading to Christchurch, look no further.

We stayed here (in the Canterbury Room) for the first night of our trip to New Zealand. The room is well-decorated and has its own little garden accessed by French doors. It also has a nice big tub (which we didn't use) and a shower (which we did). The shower didn't have a door on it -- meant to be...

Nice little B&B next to Pomeroy's Brew Pub. No frills was great for our family of 6. Only a couple of rooms and has laundry on site. The rooms were very clean and the staff was really nice. It was a 50 foot walk to the brew pub shich was the selling point for me. After 20 hours of travel...

I was lucky to spend the night here. It was a cancellation! The B&B is run in conjunction with the pub and cafe next door. Upon arrival, you simply have to go pub to pick up your key! The room had a lovely little patio/garden. Everything was very clean. The only concern was the shower seemed to get water everywhere....

Possibly my favourite place to stay in New Zealand. Beautifully decorated rooms with divine smelling shampoos, soaps etc. A kitchen/reading room where yoghurts, cereal, fruits, coffee, tea, juices are available throughout the day if you are a quest there. And fresh breads and spreads for the morning. It doesn't feel like paid accomodation...rather like someone made their beautiful home available...

We spent one night here. Room and bathroom were really nice. Checking in was a breeze. We just showed up to the pub next door and one of the bartenders let us in. We were there on a Wednesday night and left the bar next door around ten. Pub was still pretty active but we couldn't hear it in our...

Staff was helpfull and educated. I would reccomend for a pint and a feed any time. The patio is nice even if you dont smoke as there is a great...
