I travel a lot for work and the staff here were first rate. I appreciated the little touches like being shown to our room, warm muffins, fresh milk. The rooms were quiet and had all you needed if you wanted to cook for yourself but you are also close enough to a range of good eateries. Parking on site made... More

New owners since I last stayed here. They are great. Friendly welcome. Early check in no problem. Very clean. Warm. Accommodated all our requests and even have complimentary expresso coffee available. We will go back.

I broke my ankle and stayed in an accessible room for two months until I was recovered enough to get home. The unit was clean, warm, and comfortable. The staff were excellent and so very helpful. The motel is a good standard, good amenities but what makes this place excellent is the helpfulness of the staff. They were wonderful. I... More

My work booked me for 2 days in Dunedin, as it was close to Forsyth Barr Stadium. I was more than impressed with presentation of my room, it was extremely tidy. On arrival i was shown to my room (not just pointed to it) and also given a warm muffin straight from the oven. The room was street facing however... More

We always stay here when we visit Dunedin. The rooms are very clean and beautifully furnished, the beds are very comfortable and the staff are really friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Very central to town, or if you are there to see someone in hospital, it is just around the corner. Another big plus is that though you are... More

Very helpful staff. Room was a little dated, but had been freshly painted and was very clean. Bed comfortable and room was quiet, despite being close to the main road. Short walk to a good selection of eating places. Would certainly return.

Expensive for what it is ... A little tired but warm and functional. Had to stay for 3 night minimum as we were in town for an All Blacks test. Close enough to walk to the stadium, walk to the city centre and pubs. All in all not a bad experience and the hosts were very lovely.

This clean comfortable motel is within walking distance of the university and CBD. One reason we chose it was because it offered a continental breakfast but when we inquired we were advised this was not available. This was possibly because the motel changed hands while we were there. The motel has "eco friendly" signage in the bathroom, and has the... More

Spent 3 nights here and found it to be very comfortable and tidy. Bathroom and bedding clean and well presented. Heater worked well too. Location was fantastic for easy access to town and the University within walking distance. Hosts were very helpful and gracious. The only downside was a smoking neighbour, but that was just a disrespectful choice of that... More

I chose to stay here for the night I was in town to see Black Sabbath. I was looking for the best combination of location, TripAdvisor rating, and price. In the end I compromised a bit on price due to the location and TA ratings. Perhaps expectations were a bit high, but in terms of the room it was only... More
