On the positive side is a good location and nice large room with a couple of chairs and good view. The bed was very soft so we didn't sleep well and unfortunately there was a large group in for breakfast the first morning no table available we had to understand that they hadn't had time to sort things out! Carpet...

Difficult access and parking. Nowhere to unload car (because of a queue behind) and then a very steep road to get cases up to the hotel lobby. No help in the lobby, they seemed a bit short of staff. Room was OK, clean and adequate facilities. Bed was comfortable. Shower was in a bath making access difficult for two oldies!...

The location is great as pointed out by most reviews, its a very quick walk to the octagon and malls etc The reception area is small and a bit dated, however the service was polite and efficient. I found my room very hot and I had trouble sleeping in the heat, the bed was comfortable though. As others have mentioned...

We arrived here in the rain to find the reception area was being updated and access was through the restaurant. Unfortunately the door to the restaurant was closed and despite banging on the door we could not gain access. We tried the reception door and rang the bell but still no answer. We were stood outside in the rain for...

Since our last review in July 2016, we've returned on three other occasions (all wonderful stays), but on this latest trip, we were given one of the recently refurbished rooms. I guess it was totally the luck of the draw in having such a room, but I thought that by giving readers plus the hotel some feedback, both would benefit....

I stayed here, for two nights over a weekend. The Main entrance is being renovated, which mean't entry is through the external doors in the bar or restaurant. The booking in process is good, but only one slow lift to the upper floors. My room was fantastic. I found the room clean and well serviced. There was plenty of milk ,...

Good location, lovely staff. Walls quite thin in rooms and unfortunately had a family next door who were quite noisy, thankfully my son managed to go to sleep despite them! Parking is quite limited as well..

Initial impressions after a long drive were dissapointing. Hotel is very dated and needs some attention, however our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent with a short walk to centre of town.
