This is a great place to stay. Clean and tidy with plenty of space. Location is good too. Would happily recommend this to anyone staying in Invercargill. Very handy to lots of sightseeing locations and shops.

We stayed for a couple of nights on business, room was ok. Shower was awkward to get in to. Wifi was good, building was old and rooms had been renovated and were ok. Could do with a better desk to work on.

Thank you for staying at Quest Invercargill and for your kind feedback Darron. All of our studio rooms have a small table and chairs - however we do have a number of rooms with a desk as well. If you stay with us again please request a work desk and we will happily provide for you.

As we only had a short drive today, we arrived 90 minutes early. For the first time in 10 days we were sent away as the room was not ready. No big deal but a definite surprise. The Quest is a charming old building with high ceilings which makes the room appear small, but it has everything you could possibly...

Thank you for staying at Quest and for your feedback. Check-in is 2pm onward as you will appreciate. Normally we can accommodate early check-ins but sometimes when the hotel is full as it has been for months now, it can be difficult to turn around all of the rooms and have them ready in 3 hours. Anyone turning up early...

Arrived around 1:15pm and was advised that the room was not ready but receptionist provided a ticket for their parking alongside the hotel as this is their designated parking area. When we we returned from Lunch I was advised that their was a surcharge to use the Visa credit card (the only Motel/hotel I had stayed over the last 3...

Thank you for your feedback. We do apologise for the Sat night noise - it was particularly bad the night you stayed - I know because I live in the room above yours. The Sat night "boy racers" are something that we have no control over, but we are working with police and council on this. We are a busy...

Very comfortable and modern apartments. Continental breakfast is ready and waiting in the fridge. however this is very small - 2 slices of bread with spreads and a yoghurt, fresh milk and orange juice. In other places we have stayed they provided cereal, and fresh eggs to cook yourself also. It is on the Main Street, and we had a...

We arrived in Invercargill in late January in pouring rain and high winds. We wondered why we had decided to go there on our trip round the south island. Whilst there isn't a lot to do for tourists, In the end we were glad we went there because it's probably closer to the real NZ than the usual tourist places....

Thank you for your kind feedback Robert. Unfortunately NZ has had an unusually bad summer this year and it sounds like you may have had more than your share. However I can tell you that for the last 10 days in Invercargill we have been experiencing warm sunny days. Breakfast should have included Meusli, milk, orange juice, yoghurt, toast, and...

Stayed one night. Apartment clean and well equipped. Staff very helpful. Car parking right beside hotel in the centre of town. Few minutes from the airport so most convenient. Hotel in an old post office building and other interesting buildings nearby. Would stay there again

We just booked a night between leaving Stewart Island and going to Dunedin. To be honest, was a great stay...nice room and Invercargill turned out to be more interesting than we thought it would...wished we stayed a couple of nights there. Eating tip: Speight's Alehouse...best meal I had in NZ.

Thank you for your kind feedback. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. Guests are usually surprised at how much there is to see and do in Invercargill. The Speights Ale House is a goodie and we frequently refer guests there knowing that their service and meals are very good

No one on reception on arrival. Had to phone a certain call centre three times before let in and then twice more to arrange parking. Lift seems lethal. Room dirty and cold. Bathroom walls and towels covered in other guests hair. Kitchen lights blown, some dirty plates and cutlery in drawers, near impossible to use hob, no oven or grill,...

Thank you for your feedback which appears consistent with your review history. We do apologise for the difficulty your experienced in checking in after 10pm. Most guests find this a fairly simple process. Our reception is manned from 7am to 8pm, with a duty manager on-site 24hrs daily - whom I understand you did speak with eventually to sort out...

We arrived in Invercargill just after Xmas and, although the town was quiet, we looked forward to exploring the area. Unfortunately the town was mainly shut - you cannot buy alcohol anywhere other than a public house so going back to our rooms for a quiet evening was out of the question. The Quest is an old building but comfortable...

Thank you for your kind feedback Dorothy. Alcohol is available from bottle stores ) liquor outlets) in Invercargill - although they are a bit of a walk from the hotel. Even they, like many businesses, are closed during the Xmas and New Year public holiday days. The hotel is a restored 1940 Central Post Office and the developers have tried...
