Very helpful staff, fantastically clean room, great location. Perfect. We were shown to a room that was had a view of a building site - with people working there and making noice. The manager immediately moved us to a quieter floor/room. Very helpful staff for trips andthings to do.

This very modern hotel is accessed down a slope and into reception on floor 6 - other floors going down to the water level below. It appears to be mainly apartments, which accounts for the smallish reception area with tiny lounge area/bar and a surprisingly small restaurant for the size of the building. We had a friendly reception and were...

A well appointed and managed hotel. All staff & management were very helpful and went out of their way to please, nothing was a problem. The apartments were very clean with good style furnishings and serviced daily.Would stay again at this hotel if returning to Queenstown. Although about 10 minutes out of town the hotel provides a free shuttle service.

One if the best probably THE BEST hotels I stayed during my visit in NZL. Spacious Rooms warm and approachable staff and to add to it personalised services offerred by the staff. Juat raising the service quality bar to the next level, specially when I come from a tourism dependant state I understand the importance of service to the guests....

We stayed in an apartment overlooking the lake and I have to say it was of the highest quality. The view from lounge and bedroom were breathtaking and even when it rained for a short time retained the WOW factor. The shuttle bus to town worked well and allowed us to leave the car and have a few beers. The...

This hotel has great views over the lake if you have the right room, but we were a bit disappointed. Our large room had beautiful uninterrupted views. However, to get to it we had to cross through the underground car park , through a bizarre structure of platforms/ walkways with metal and wooden posts. To enter the main hotel for...

We were a little disappointed by the Rees. The word luxury is a little overstated. First the good: good sized rooms and good bathrooms. Also very friendly service. Lovely views from the bedrooms. Good breakfast. The less good: bed far too soft. Generally a bit of a bedroom factory. More reminiscent of a resort hotel such as found in Spain...

Lovely hotel, really well appointed, fantastic view right on the lake. The rooms are terrific, really well set up and a great size. As much as I love this hotel personally I am a stay in town person, so would prefer to be right amongst it. It is a 45 minute walk or 10 minute drive to town. There is...

My husband and I spent six nights at the Rees and were very happy there. Our room was well appointed, including a balcony with gorgeous views of the lake and the Remarkables. Service was excellent. We walked into town several times and also rented bikes from the hotel to explore the area. The Rees provided shuttle service into town, which...

The Rees is set into a lakeside cliff face with glorious views of water and mountains. The rooms are thoughtfully equipped, excellent wifi and entertainment and a happy looking bright young staff for whom nothing is a bother. We had a superb five nights and recommend it without any reservation except for the need to get shuttle or other transport...
