Arrived on a Friday around 3pm... unfortunately we were particularly happy with the greeting, took the lady behind the desk over 3 minutes to turn around and speak to us so that put a damper on the start of the short strip. The room was ok, it had all the necessary essentials. Bathroom looked renovated. Bed was King. Did have...

We recently stayed at Melbourne Lodge Bed and Breakfast and it definitely far exceeded our expectations. Cara and staff were very accommodating and helpful. The rooms were well maintained and were made up nicely all the time. The location was very accessible to transport and to the heart of the Town Center. Thank you very much for hosting us.

It was my birthday and upon arrival I found my single room had been upgraded to a beautiful suite. Clean, spacious , peaceful and bright the room was perfect. With a 5 min walk to town and the nearest bus stop near the millennium hotel at the top of the hill before town (3mins from hotel) this place is brilliantly...

Stay was very warm cosy and comfortable and the staff is lovely. Even better are the views that we enjoyed while we had the breakfast. Love to stay here again. Best part about the breakfast was the fresh baked croissants.

This is my second stay and it did not disappoint. I usually book a single room which is small but perfect for my needs, quiet, private and homely. Comfy beds with lovely smelling sheets, the heater was on when I arrived late at night which made the room toasty warm, just what I needed after four wet days walking the...

For accommodation that wasn't overpriced Melbourne Lodge was a pleasant surprise. The room was lovely and newly updated. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The staff and owners were very helpful. The view was amazing. Just a shame it is such a steep walk up the hill to walk back as everything is within walking distance. I was there for a...

I stayed at Melbourne Lodge for 3 nights and would highly recommend it. The studio apartment was spacious and clean, with a modern bathroom, lovely garden just outside the sliding doors, and very comfortable bed. Breakfast each morning was great, with various cereals and fruit, plus toast, croissants, tea and coffee. The dining room and lounge area are inviting and...

I'd originally booked a budget room but we got upgraded on arrival to a much nicer one. Our room was gorgeous - fairly newly renovated and beautifully decorated. It was very comfortable and a pleasant place to relax after a big day in Queenstown! The surrounding gardens gave it a lovely homely feel and I appreciated the breakfast that was...

We stayed at Melbourne Lodge for one night before leaving Queenstown and we enjoyed it very much. It was comfy and staff were warm and welcoming. The spa was lovely on a cold afternoon too. The hill upto the lodge is a killer but it was worth it :)
