We stayed at nugget point for most of this summer and it can not be faulted in anyway! Staff were friendly and very helpful, making for a great stay! Wonderful views, quiet but near enough to queenstown and great food in the Bodhi Tree Restaurant! Would highly recommend! Rob and Viv

Lovely comfy hotel . About 3 Kms out of town so car needed , quiet location . We had a room at the back overlooking the Gorge with beautiful scenery , snow covered mountains in the distance and the site and sound of the jet boats racing up through the gorge. A really nice hotel although a little dated !...

Our booking fell through as we approached Queenstown, so we found this at the very last minute. It's about 4 km out of town, up in the mountains. Ample parking lot. It has pretensions to being a resort hotel, but it needs some work before that happens. the owner took it over about six months ago, so they can be...

Outstanding view from our room and the lounge overlooking the mountains and riverbed. Very clean, luxurious room..awesome king sized bed and jacuzzi tub in the room. Wish we could have stayed longer..about 15 minutes ride out of Queenstown but well worth being away from the hustle and bustle..You will not be disappointed

We came here at a busy time in Queenstown so we had limited options left and decided to go with this hotel based on reviews, we spent 467 AUD for two nights in a river view suite. The lady at reception was very helpful and she let us know where to park in town for free. The room was quite...

We stayed at nugget point on the first night of our honeymoon and were upgraded to an Executive River View Suite, which had amazing views of the shotover river, two TVs, rain style shower, double vanity and both indoor and outdoor spa baths. As they knew it was our honeymoon they had placed rose petals on the bed with towels...

I rang to book as I had stayed there before several years before and was very impressed with the stunning location, and intrigued with the French Chateau style room furnishings. I especially wanted a riverview room, wanting to spoil a girlfriend going through a tough time. I was told there were still five available, and the lovely young woman assured...

This was a return visit having spent a few nights here in 2015. That visit was great but it was disappointing to see how shabby the place had got since then. The view is still one of the best and the staff are friendly and helpful BUT.....the paint is chipped and scuffed along the corridors, our bathroom door didn't close...

We visited in early February; it was being refurbished externally because there was scaffolding on the front side walls. The painting work did not really bother us in anyway however. It aims to be a bit of a better class of hotel and the public lounge bar area is very good; it's light and spacious with lots of comfortable seating....

The hotel is very beautiful. The room is big and comfortable, but it doesn't offer the amenities needed for eating, like glasses of wine, plates, cutlery or pots. What really upset us was the restaurant's service. It was terrible! We didn't have breakfast included in our reservation, but we decided to eat there. It was 15 dollars each, but the...
