We booked in with another couple, their room was nice with a waterfront view, ours was in the basement. Small and cramped so we eventually got what we expected. The rooms need updating and for the price, I suggest you look around.

The hotel room was clean and reasonably large with a view over the lake although we were on the Mezzamine floor (low) and NOT suited to those that cannot manage stairs which are the only access. A small balcony to seat two and the usual hotel figments. The bathroom however was old and well overdue for refurbishment with a shower...

We stayed in this hotel for five nights in March 2017. It is conveniently located to all amenities with the views of lake. Walking distance to town centre. Rooms are good and clean, Staff is very helpful, though the reception can be busy around 0800 hrs. My wife had to see the doctor about 2030 hrs one evening(lost her inhaler...

The room was large and attractive in Rydges Lakeland Resort in Queenstown New Zealand. But the hotel put me in a ground floor room with an awful view of the parking lot. Upon my request, they moved me to the third floor with a stunning and gorgeous view of the lake. The room was large and well done. The hotel...

i am very disappointed with this hotel. it has an awsome outlooking. but when i get in my room. it is just tiny. even doesn't have a chair in front of the table. cause there is no space for the chair at all! the carpet and the table look like have been 50 years old. over all , it...

Great location to town centre with water views. Comfy bed but a little outdated bathroom. All the necessary features to a hotel. Parking can be limited so may need to park on street. Free unlimited wifi.

Wow!!! Got room overlooking Lake Wakatipu. A little noise from the street below along with people walking along the lakefront but the view overshadowed all that. Very touristy town but the beautiful lake plus the Queenstown Gardens make you forget it. Did a lot of walking plus sat on a bench on the lake across from the hotel for a...

Rydges Lakeside is just that. It overlooks one of New Zealand's largest lakes. The view from our room was both majestic and serene. I watched the sunrise over the mountains with my coffee each morning. Downtown Queenstown is only a 10-15 minute walk away. Great hotel-great location.

It's far to say I was pretty disappointed with my stay at the Rydges in Queenstown, the room was extremely dated and this has put me off staying again. On the bright side the staff are amazing and their service was flawless.

Whilst this hotel has been refurbished in some areas our room 209 was very dated which was disappointing but ok. The major concern was the black mould around the bath shower area. Bleach would fix this in a flash. $240 expect clean!!!
