Absolutely fabulous experience and great value for money with free parking. Small enough room and on suite but very clean, comfortable and warm with a balcony looking at the mountains, fabulous view. Toiletries of very high quality and all bed linen and towels super white and fresh. Breakfast was included, a vast array of juices, fresh fruit, yogurts and cereals...

We have now stayed several times at the Chalet and have enjoyed each stay. It is always comfortable, warm and welcoming, everything you need in a B & B! It is also an easy walk to the town centre. Our stay was topped off with a spectacular breakfast. Thanks Alex, you are a great host! We will return :-)

We splurged a bit on our last night in New Zealand, and what a great way to end the trip. We showed up in mid-morning, and within 15 minutes they had our room ready for us (which we hadn't expected at all--we thought we would drop off our luggage and wander around...but after hiking the Milford Track and the Routeburn...

We recently stayed at the chalet -where nothing was too much bother. We rented the whole place - 7 ensuite rooms so that all the extended family could stay in one place. Each room was well appointed and had everything we could need when you are holidaying away fom home. Alex was very accommodating while we messed up his kitchen...

Great value for the price. Amazing cafe quality breakfasts every morning that would cost at least $20 eating out. Modern but welcoming and comfortable environment. Hosts were very friendly without being overbearing, the perfect combo. Cooking utensils would of being nice but this is more of a mini hotel! Would definitely stay again.

Spent three nights here with my cousin and what a lucky find for us. It would be one of the nicer places I have stayed in - fabulous beds. The views have to be some of the best available in Queenstown and the staff are just outstanding - nothing was any bother. Great breakfast selection and can highly recommend it...

Chalet Queenstown offered a very, very welcome respite from the camper van in which we had been travelling for a few weeks. As it was the end of our trip we thought we would treat ourselves and were glad we did. I had rung the number for the host's sister property Historic Stone House but it was undergoing renovations at...
