Carrol the owner is a complete delight, you truly feel like you are at home. Amazing breakfast, and wonderful properly in the new zealand countryside ideally located just far enough from town where you feel completely at ease and relaxed. Did I forget to mention the amazingly comfortable beds!! Stay here and you will not regret it for a minute.

I always go to a top rated place with a sense of impending disappointment. But Crown View deserves No. 1 for Queenstown, if not for New Zealand bed and breakfasts generally. It is quite simply the best B&B we've ever stayed in. Carroll and Reg are perfects hosts -- fun, interesting people who never tire of trying to make sure...

We recently stayed at Crown View for 3 nights. This was truly home away from home. The hosts were wonderful people who made us part of their family while we were there. I know that sounds corny. The house and room where we stayed couldn't have been nicer. Everything was beautifully decorated and updated. We had privacy if we wanted...

Unfortunately we only stayed one night at Crown View. of all the places we stayed in New Zealand this was by far the best Bed & Breakfast. We were made so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed our stay - thank you so much

We stayed at many B&B's thoughout New Zealand, and they were all wonderful, but this was the best. Where to start? Location is outside of the commotion of Queenstown, but close to everything. The setting is spectacular with great views and not so quiet farm life. The hosts are perfect. This was truly a homestay, as we were provided with...

Caroll and Reg are outstanding hosts. I echo every positive comment made below. We were met with a glass of wine and a lovely snack. The house is fantastic and has great views. The room was spotless although a fraction tiny with only one free power point ( a very minor quibble ). We stayed two days and would certainly...

Caroll and Reg made our two-night stay at Crown View an unbelievable experience. The farmhouse is situated in gorgeous countryside with both pastoral and mountain views wherever you look. A delicious breakfast with fresh eggs from the farm, freshly baked delicacies, and other ample offerings was served outside. We felt as if we were in a glorious movie. One evening...

We stayed with Carol and Reg for 3 days in January 2008, and was one of the most memorable highlights of our visit to NZ. Location and facilities are excellent, it goes without saying, but most importantly, we felt like friends rather than customers, both adults and children were made exceptionally welcome. Many thanks

...Everybody wants to stay with Carroll and Reg. The rave reviews are well-deserved. After a long day of driving we couldn't have asked for a better place to rest and relax. (We were traveling with our 11 year old son and he insisted on giving Crown View more than 5 stars). To avoid sounding like a complete copy of other...

Crown View is a very special place and Caroll and Reg and their two Westies are very special people. The drive down to Queenstown from Bruce Bay had been an amazing day, the wow factor for the scenery had gone off the scale, we were on a high and just when you think it can't get any better you arrive...

“I recommend the larger room which has an adjacent (rather than ensuite) bath . The door to the bathroom is right outside the bedroom door in a small alcove. The bath itself might be the nicest I've ever seen: large, clean, modern, with a stunning view of the Remarkables.”
