This is a lovely place to stay. Overlooks the lake and walking distance to the town centre. Laundry service across the car park is free to wash and just $2 to dry. Helpful owners, clean and comfortable accommodation. Only downside is the limit on the free wifi. 500mb per voucher given.

Stayed two nights at Fiordland Lakeview Motel and loved it. Perfectly located facing the Lake and just 5-10 minutes stroll into the small town centre. Rooms were very spacious, modern and fresh. Good quality sitting room with armchairs, table and dining chairs and a decent kitchen area. Very comfy bed and modern bathroom. Receptionist was full of smiles and most...

We first stayed here in Feb 2015 and enjoyed our stay, so we booked a 1-bed apartment again for our trip in Nov 2016 and were delighted with it. All the bathrooms have been recently replaced and are very good (a weaker point for us in 2015). The apartments are spacious and well equipped, in a good location. The staff...

Enjoyed staying in this updated apartment style motel. Kitchenette had a fridge, three burner stove and microwave to cook meals in. The living area had a beautiful view of Lake Te Anau and a patio area to enjoy the view and a glass of wine. The bedroom was seperate from the living area and had a comfortable King bed. Laundry...

What a pleasure it was to stay at the Lakeview motel. Yes there is a view from the room onto the lake. The walk alongside the lakeside to the town centre is very easy and pleasant. The host is fantastic. Ever so helpful and a pleasure to chat with. Hopefully I can stay next year and enjoy the very direct...

Thus motel was booked well in advance as rooms in Te Anau seem to be in short supply. It was a great choice - the manager was very helpful and friendly. The ground floor room had a small patio area overlooking the front garden - perfect for an evening drink on a sunny day with a great lakeside view. The...

We were able to do our laundry for free which was a big bonus for us. Rooms were lovely and quiet and the lake views were stunning. The staff were very friendly and obliging. Would...

We loved it here from the moment we arrived. The view over the lake is beautiful and the hotel is also only a few minutes walk to the centre of Te-anau. We had 2 one-bedroom apartments which were quite large and very clean and modern with a little balcony to sit outside and enjoy the view. I did a lot...

We stayed here on our way back to Queenstown from Milford Sound. Te Anau is a quiet, laid back tourist town, stark contrast to busy Queenstown. The room we were given was incredibly spacious with a large lounge and small kitchen. Everything was clean and tidy. Bedroom had a queen and single to choose from. Our ground floor room also...

Couldn't be happier with the service and room itself. A tasteful and modern set-up with everything you need. A short walk into town, the real journeys office, or the DOC visitor centre, it was a fanatic place to unwind after trekking the Milford track.
