We were going to "Freedom Camp" in Westport but didn't fancy the couple of areas we looked at. No booking then but very helpful lady on reception sorted us out. Not a "scenic" site (looking at a field) but all the facilities were OK except that wi-fi if you wanted it came at a charge (really in 2017 there is...

We used a motel unit in this lovely holiday park. The lady at reception was very kind an welcoming, the unit was clean, spacious and very comfortable and the site is not a long way from the town. There was plenty of available parking. The park itself had an ambiance not usually associated with motel complexes. I do not hesitate...

I love this campground, I have stayed before and will stay again. It is well appointed and well cared for. There are just a couple of things though that stop me giving it 5 stars. The kitchen is too small for the number of people that use it. How about a second kitchen for when it is busy? Also the...

Stayed three nights. Hired a chalet. Loved the bush setting and the great outdoor dining area which was great for our group. Found it odd to be charged for wifi at this establishment. It was included in the tarrif everywhere else. The chalet was adequate but the fridge was broken so we could not fit all of our supplies inside....

Clean, tidy, uncrowded but spartan. Cabins contain beds, refrigerator, a table and chairs. Kitchen is spartan, not even a spoon. Wifi connection costs $5 per day. Spacious showers are hot with good water pressure. Overall, this is not great value for $80 per night for a couple.

We stayed in one of the lodges here for two nights. The facilities were really well looked after. Lovely large bathroom never had to queue and warm showers. Clean kitchen and a good BBQ area. Staff were very friendly. If you are staying here I would make sure you have a car... we did not and struggled with seeing anything....

Only accommodation I could get the night before the marathon so I was skeptical, but it was great. Friendly staff, good hot clean showers (with no extra coins required), good kitchen facilities, TV room with big sofas, lovely outdoor eating area, quiet tent sites on soft flat ground.

We camped here for two nights for the Buller half marathon. I wanted to start by saying the service we received when we checked in was fantastic. The staff were under quite a lot of pressure but they kept there sense of humour, were knowledgeable and courteous. We stayed in our own camper van. The facilities were ok, a few...

Stayed here for a night during the summer and wished we stayed longer! Brilliant mini golf course, even in the rain. Good kitchen facilities. Large shelter with barbeque and picnic tables which still protect you from the rain. Very generous internet - $5 for 10GB overnight. Wonderful hostess that takes pride in Westport and surrounding areas.

the lady at the check in desk was friendly and has the kind of personality this industry sometimes lacks. Good to see people enjoying their work! For a big franchise holiday park this place has bags of character. Loved the plant life and the a frame cabins

Hi Jon Really glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. Our Chalets have been a hit this year with the changers that we have made to them, including linen and crockery. Hope to see you again on your travels around the South Island.
