Great location with beautiful coastline to explore. Small motel with friendly hosts, lovely dining/lounge room to share a plentiful breakfast with other guests. Sad we only had time for a one night stay!

It was great to have a couple of nights with Karen and Lee at Omau Settlers Lodge. The rooms have chalet like qualities and the location just out of Westport in a peaceful and idealic setting. I felt very welcome and Lee and Karen were ideal hosts. Using this as a base for a few days mountain biking in Denniston...

We loved this stop in Cape Foulwind. The owners were welcoming and friendly. It is locatedd a short distance from a great beach and seal watching. A few steps from a tavern with good food. After watching a beautiful sunset,we slept soundly in the quiet of the night. Breakfast in the morning was an added bonus.

Beautifully appointed room, super comfortable king bed. Lovely views out to Cape Foulwind and close to Tauranga Bay for surf and the fabulous food and views at the Bayhouse. Also, the continental breakfast was more than adequate.

Rooms were comfortable and clean, and practically everything at breakfast was homemade (amazing muffins). The owners were friendly and helpful. Stargazing from the hot tub in the evening (you book a slot at reception) and a beautiful walk along the coast to the seal colony in the morning - you can't go wrong. The pub next door did decent food...
