My sister, my niece, and I stayed at Steamers for four nights in mid-April, 2017. Our hosts Gary and Lisa could not have been more hospitable and helpful. The breakfasts were always hot, hearty enough for a soldier, and varied each day. (The to-die-for maple syrup was very dark and top quality!) Especially appreciated were Gary's skill at bartending, and...

This is a very pleasant place to stay, the rooms are furnished with beautiful heritage pieces, the beds are clean and comfortable. Good to have ensuite bath/shower in each guest room. The breakfasts that we were served were hot and tasty. The bar and tea room maintains good hours for a hot or cold beverage at a reasonable price. Service...

As a customer of a bed and breakfast, I have certain expectations. As for the breakfast half of the business, we were served a plate with one egg, a few potatoes from a frozen bag, one slice of toast, and half way through, coffee. We smelled bacon but were not served this. One of the cats did join us, sitting...

An overly ambitious venture by inexperienced innkeepers. No food was available as promised for our late evening arrival, neither at the b&b or anywhere in town. Breakfast was barely edible in spite of our hunger. The beautiful house was a mess with owners' belongings everywhere. The bed was okay, but the comforter smelled like cats. We needed the comforter because...

We just stayed here for a quick overnight getaway for our anniversary. Last time we stayed here was in 2000. While the inn is under new management, it still has the same charm and history. The owners son was fabulous. He was very happy to answer any questions we had about the history of the building, and talk about the...

Had a nice relaxing evening with family here while enjoying a tasty beverage! The service was friendly and the ambiance was lovely! It has gorgeous views of the river while we relaxed on the patio. I will definitely go back to try another handmade cocktail!

We visited Gagetown for a family memorial. We found Steamers online and booked. Steamers is a quaint turn of the century home with a lot of great character furniture pieces throughout. Steamers is under new ownership and they are currently doing renovations. The owners are very personable and accommodating. If you're a cat lover they have two that are around....

We randomly ended up in the Village of Gagetown last weekend. We saw Gary out in his yard and stopped to ask for some information. He was very helpful and we ended up spending the rest of the evening chatting with him and his wife in the tea room, which is open to the public. We didn't spend the night...

We enjoy spending time with all our guests, weather they are just for the evening in the Pub or tea room or spending the night. Best of luck with your quest for the black tern, we will be sure to let you know should we encounter any nesting in the area in the future. All our best. G,L&B

Being renovated but will be delightful when new owners complete remaining work. Lovely old inn with individual rooms each with bathroom, and period furniture and antiques. Lovely view of the waterway behind and family owner's son is friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the history. Stop in for a tour, stay for tea. Unsure that beds look comfy or require fresh...

Thank you for your review. We are working hard to get the necessary renovations done which are primarily exterior in nature, with our painter starting later this month. I'm sorry I don't understand the bed comment, if you could elaborate it would be helpful. The mattresses are medium firm mattresses with a quality plush pillow topper for additional comfort. Indeed...
