The hotel is budget and the decor is neat. If you get stuck with where to stay and simply need a place to rest your head then the CBD is clean and tidy enough to consider If you are after luxury you will not find it at this hotel but you will be pleasantly surprised with food quality and personal...

This is not a hotel as advertised on the wotif site. It's a room above a pub. Photos of hotel/rooms are very deceiving on the site. On the bed there were top and bottom sheets, which were clean, but only one blanket and this in the middle of winter. I could not find any others in the room. The room was...

Only stayed here because it was the only place left during a long weekend, my friends and I got two rooms both just had a double bed in each room and a sink. We found numerous pubes in the bed, the room smelt of smoke and we were too scared to use the communal bathrooms so we avoided them as...

We stayed here just the one night (a group of 8, ie - 4 couples) and none had a really good sleep. Rooms were cheap enough ($ 79.00 / night) , with shared facilities down the hall, but very small. Showers / toilets were down the hall. We found a cockroach sharing our tea bags also - he was not...

I stayed at this hotel for the Lovedale Long Lunch festival. I guess you have low expectations when you are staying in pub accommodation, but it none the less managed to disappoint. A good point was the linen - fresh and clean. It was just around the road from the Crown Plaza precinct, including the Honeysuckle Hotel. This was also...

The website claims the bathroom amenities are 'good quality' but this is simply not true. They are dated, moldy and the smell is unbearable. I won't be returning and in all good conscience can not recommend this accommodation.

My partner and I stayed here last weekend after a last minute decision to visit Newcastle. We found the hotel's location great, close to restaurants, shops, cafe, beach, art gallery etc.. We chose to stay in the queen delux that included a bathroom (booked through bookings.com) - reading other reviews about the shared facilities I'm glad we did. The room...

Last week we went along to an old favourite, CBD bistro. We left two hours free for our meal before going to the theatre. There seemed to be issues for some people right from the start. As we waited and waited and waited, we noticed a few people returning meals. After 90 minutes, I went up to check on our...
