I booked this place while working in the Hunter Valley and it was a perfect haven. The rooms are bright, clean and had everything needed. I had room service which was fast, accurate, and perfectly presented, not to mention delicious. The grounds are great (quite a lot of bindies in the grass) but other than that I had a relaxing...

We thought this was a smallish guest house so we're surprised that is was more of a hotel with restaurant and meeting rooms located in this vineyard area. That said, it is not overpriced for the area. The breakfast and location are good and the rooms comfortable. We stayed in the valley view area which is a little rundown and...

Went to the Hunter Valley with 12 of us. Stayed at The Guesthouse. Can truly recommend it to everyone. Not only is the guesthouse beautiful but the staff were amazing. From the front desk to the bar to the amazing kitchen. The food was to die for. Will definitely go back.

We stayed for 2 nights The rooms are wonderful and comfortable. Staff very friendly and nothing was a problem to ensure our stay was terrific. Would be a great place to come away with friends. There is a restaurant here although we did not dine other than breakfast. However the menu does look great. The breakfast is amazing with the...

Good, comfortable accommodation, although the bathroom facilities were dated and the room and furniture were not so much Deluxe, more 'Standard' (but there are no 'Standard' rooms). The evening dinner met the website's description of 'gourmet food and wine', although we were surprised at breakfast by the orange juice being concentrated and not from freshly squeezed oranges. All the staff...

Spent an enjoyable 2 night stay celebrating our sons 30th birthday. We found the rooms adequate and well appointed but the decor was somewhat tired. The bathroom was lacking in modern plumbing. The communal lounge area was very comfortable and pleasant. The restaurant was excellent , menu options were superb and very tasty. My wife and I shared the shoulder...

Stayed at the guest house last week end and had a wonderful time. Had a package deal which included a three course dinner, bed and breakfast. Checked in about 3 after spending the day wine tasting. The staff were cheerful and eager to please. Dinner was excellent , I had grilled octopus then shared a massive aged rib eye on...

We are 60-year-old self-funded retirees with lots of pleasure and business travel experience all over the world, and as such, we have high but not unreasonable expectation of hotels. Importantly, we always try to match our expectations with what we believe we purchased. If you’re looking for a bit of an “old world” guesthouse experience, then you might like to...

My husband and I stayed here for the night. Such a lovely hotel. It really feels like home. The staff were all friendly and cheerful. Very close to the wineries like Tamburlaine, Hope Estate and De Bortolli. The breakfast buffet was good. They also make their own jams. Try the grape jam and lemon butter. They're to die for. There's...
