My lovely wife and I recently stayed at the marvellous Hermitage Lodge which is situated in the stunning Pokolbin area of the Hunter Valley. So peaceful and relaxing and our very spacious suite overlooked a small vineyard. Immaculate room presentation with a very good continental breakfast included in accommodation cost. Stayed for two nights and had breakfast on our private...

Brilliantly located near most of the great vineyards in Pokolbin. We were allowed to check in 3 hours early after driving up from Sydney for the night, really enjoyed it and if we come back to Australia and the Hunter Valley we wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Hermitage.

Very spacious room. We ordered in from the on-site restaurant. Variety of DVDs for loan as well. Was quiet and peaceful, our room overlooked the vineyard. Our host recommended a number of excellent cellar doors for us to visit. Room was very clean and continental breakfast was included in the price of the room.

Fabulous accommodation, which included a continental breakfast. Our studio room was immaculate and spacious. This is our second time here and would not stay anywhere else in the Hunter Valley. The staff were very friendly and when we arrived we were taken personally to our studio accommodation, which was a lovely gesture.

My husband, daughter and I stayed overnight in one of the lovely one bedroom suites overlooking the vines and pond. The suite was well appointed with a huge bathroom with shower in bath and a large vanity. Our daughter slept on the sofa bed in the lounge room which she said was comfortable. The continental breakfast of yoghurt, muesli and...

We spent the most delightful weekend at the Hermitage. If you want to know how well any place is managed look at the staff. Well in short we were spoiled rotten by everyone there. We were given an little gift on our arrival and shown to our suite. Breakfast was in the fridge for the morning. There was everything from...

I have stayed here before and have always experienced a restful experience, so I did not have any hesitation booking my wedding accommodation here. Our family and friends took up probably about half the estate in various room types. We experienced not only their lovely rooms with comfortable beds, tasty included continental breakfast provisions and well appointed rooms, but lovely...

This was a birthday present so before I even arrived there it was a good deal. The Romantic package involved wine & chocolates on arrival. We had the end room - Honeytree - which was very private & had a wrap-around balcony ideal to have our cooked breakfast provided in the deal while looking out on the vines. The room...
