I had booked the indulgence package and Gay did an amazing job at organiseing everything. Gay and Warren went above and beyond to make our stay ever more special. The massages at the Crown Plaza were arranged at a great time so we didn't have...More
What a lovely and idyllic location for a special weekend getaway. Our hosts Gay and Warren could not be more accommodating, our Chardonnay room was perfect, right down to the bottle of port for our drinking pleasure. Cooperage is a great and unique location, perfectly...More
Stayed two nights at the Cooperage. Having never been to a B & B we were not sure what to expect. The Cooperage is beautifully appointed and maintained in a quiet setting in an estate. Our hosts, Gay and Warren, were very welcoming and could...More
The place to go when you need to unwind. The Cooperage was a magical experience with amazing rooms and hosts. The Bed and breakfast was located in the heart of a VineYard with a serene view from our room.
The Breakfasts were AMAZING... Scrumptious!

Hi, I'm surprising my husband with a trip to the Hunter Valley Cheese Festival in June 2017. He loves the vineyards and B&Bs but does not like pokey rooms. I have reserved a Chardonnay Room but after reading some of the reviews I am concerned that the room will be small and our view will not be nice. I would appreciate feedback if you have stayed in a Chardonnay Room or you have seen one so I can decide if we need to book something else. Thanks

Hi, we also stayed in the Chardonnay room and in terms of size i'd probably describe it as average, definitely not small. However, you have acces via a double sliding glass door to a beautiful big verandah which has a stunning view over the vineyards and down to the lake - just delightful. You also have access to a huge common area which has those same views and theres also a theatre room for guest to use. The hosts are fantastic and the breakfasts (homemade by Gay) are second to none - just delicious! If your husband loves B&B's and vineyards, as my husband does, then look no further than The Cooperage.
