What is the point if your review does not tell the truth. I stayed here 3 years ago and was not impressed. This time around I booked not knowing or remembering I stayed there before. As soon as I saw the horror film front I remembered. It was a dirty place then and it still is but worse. Fies abound....

This is the worst hostel I have stayed at. The room was okay and the mattress was fine, but the people that stayed there (some of them had been living there for months) liked to party loud until 3 am, so if you do not bring earplugs it is close to impossible to sleep. They guy who checked us in...

Stayed here for one night travelling back to Sydney. Booked into a twin room. First impressions not great, leaking roof and building work going on but seemed suitable for one night to rest. The first issue is the state of the kitchen, there are a lot of long term residents I think and that contributes to the disgusting state of...

Checked into this backpackers, found the whole place revoltingly dirty. Open safety needle, public hair, spiders in "clean" bed. Room appeared to have patchwork fix to door that had been repeatedly broken into. We were relieved when management happily refunded all money. Not recommended for women, does not feel like a safe place to stay.

I enjoyed the stay, it was very chilled. For a place which can cost you only $20 a night, it have everything you needed for a short stay and allowed you to make great friends. The staff were helpful and down to earth and the place had a very island feel to it, with Boheme beds around a table, makes...

I can't speak for the experiences that other people had here, but my stay was surprisingly uneventful, which is fine with me when it comes to a hostel. I was nervous seeing as how a lot of reviews talked about dirty rooms and cockroaches. I room I stayed in was clean and had a pretty large ensuite bathroom (Room 9?;...

This hostel is very nice. It's clean and welcoming. We only stayed a night but seemed a nice place for long term. The rooms are not massive but plenty of room And we even had a room with an en suite so a bonus. The hostel is also very close to the centre. Would recommend!

If you're a backpacker and wanna have a real Australia experience, go Keiraleigh backpackers hostel in Wollongong. Most nights there's a open fire. There's a lovely garden with Balinese beds to hang around. Beaches are in ten minutes walk from the hostel. Go for a walk to the lighthouse, harbour, city center, do you're groceries, everything is within walking distance....

The sign on the door says 'Cash Only', the fridge has plenty of room, and the beds are cheap. If you're sick of overpaying for a space to simply exist between adventures, this is the accomodation for you. It's in the centre of town, near the beach, and there are a few lazy curly coated retrievers out the back. The...
