I’m literally lying in our bed at 7.30 am listening to the man in the room nexts door conversation on his phone, it’s like he is in our room. Our night started of well the room was clean and comfortable and it looked like the bathroom had been recently renovated. We were waiting in our room and then heard a breaking sound, looked out our door and some kid had thrown a tea cup out from the kids area onto the driveway. Once we went to the restaurant we enjoyed out meal the pizza was amazing, if you could ignore the children running around the establishment you would have a good night.back in our room ur shower was amazing. The beds were a bit small and the room was bright, curtains would block out light and noise. We were awoken by some guy on his phone at midnight. Slept well though but now listening to our neighbour he is on his third phone call organising hay to sell. My son loved the free wifi

This place was a surprise, I booked it because it was cheaper than most other places as it was the school holidays. When we got there we couldn’t find it at first because there is the pub/bistro and bottle shop at the front but the motel rooms are tucked behind the main buildings and away from the road.
The room was impeccably clean and recently renovated including the bathroom, with a huge comfortable bed and excellent air conditioning. There were bottles of cold water in the fridge and safe parking out the front

I booked this room via booking.com for my wife and her sister to attend a family funeral. Picked it because of location. Reception wanted to refuse booking when she turned up because it was in my name even though we had rung to advise and were using the same credit card as booking.

Stayed one night for a function in Wollongong. Reception is inside the bottle shop which is “very Wollongong” (I grew up there so I can say that! ) and was staffed by a friendly young man who did an excellent job.
The room was very clean, quiet, private and surprisingly modern. It more than met our needs as somewhere to sleep (rather than somewhere you would want to spend hours in) so I would definitely recommend to others. It is adjacent to the large hotel and food facilities which is handy.
Only suggestion for improvement: get rid of International Roast as the supplied coffee - yuck !
The room was very clean, quiet, private and surprisingly modern. It more than met our needs as somewhere to sleep (rather than somewhere you would want to spend hours in) so I would definitely recommend to others. It is adjacent to the large hotel and food facilities which is handy.

I have booked 2 rooms in this hotel for 20th December, 2020. I made the booking on 13th July, 2020 (Booking ID ##59679396) through choicehotels.com web site. But when I checked the reservation now(10th Dec, 2020), I noticed that the reservation has been cancelled by the hotel. Neither I have got any email/phone or other communication regarding this cancellation, nor I was provided with an alternative booking.
When I spoke with the hotel they are saying that they have cancelled all the reservations due to a hotel renovation and they cannot provide an alternative reservation since all the places around are expensive and cannot match the price.
Very unprofessional, unfair service of Comfort Inn Towradgi Beach. It's really really disappointing to see cheating on customers by a well known hotel chain like Comfort Inn like this.

Stayed there to see a band , lively location with great entertainment. Motel accommodation was very good , super friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed lunch and dinner at the bistro . Once we arrived we had no need to get back in our car till we had to leave. Bottle shop , Restaurant , VIP room , plus Waves nightclub . For families there is a great play area for the kids .

Arrived here Easter Saturday night after hours of driving across the state. We were very tired and just wanted to sleep. Went to the beer garden to ask where reception was and my partner was spoken to very rudely by the bartenders that treated him like he was a nuisance. Though, we let that go because it was really busy and we both work in hospitality.
Went to the bottle shop reception and were ignored by an elderly woman with short blonde hair and glasses until she had finished her chat with the other staff member on the counter across from her. Didn't acknowledge us or offer to help, just stared. Strike one. Spoke short and sharp and talked to us like we were idiots, even rolling her eyes. just keen to get rid of us. An old bag is what she was!
On a positive, the young girl around my age (20) that the old bag fobbed us off to was lovely and very helpful to us. Got to the room, was a well equipped, modern room. No complaints there. Biggest bathroom i've seen in a motel. The room was why we rated this place poor and not terrible.
After leaving the next day we rang back later that night as i had left something in the room and wanted to see if i could pay to get it posted to me.
My partner got the same old bag from the bottle shop on the phone who told him that she couldn't go and have a look in the room because she was the only one in the bottle shop. Didn't offer to send someone else or even call him back. He suggested that she should take his number and call him back when she got a chance. She never did. No customer service whatsoever.
I think she assumed being only young twenty-something year olds, we wouldn't care about being treated like crap. Well, actually attending one of the top hotel schools in the country, we will not be returning and will make a point to suggest that people stay away from here. Solely because of the way we were treated.
A positive experience - a guest might tell two other people.
A NEGATIVE experience - a guest tells at least ten other people.
Or in this case, four hundred NSW uni students.

So bare with me as I recount the Comedy of Errors incurred during this delightful stay... Usually I am pretty good at choosing my hotels... This one I messed up bad. I am still apologizing to my companions one month later.
After a long drive from Brisbane (yes, in one day). We are tired and want to relax. My first warning should have been that "reception" is in the liquor store... I should have run. But after 15 hours of driving, need a shower and a beer. My confirmation says I paid a deposit of half - RIGHT ON THE CONFIRMATION, but apparently not according to the "cashier", now having booked over 8 hotels for this vacation over a year ago, I don't exactly remember what I paid where. But the responsibility lies with me to clear this up. I didn't check - kinda hard to search year old bank statements from a different continent. As far as I know even today, I probably got screwed.
So lets now evaluate the location: right next to a massive bar complex, wasn't as bad as I expected, in fact a lovely place if you are looking to get drunk, pick up someone and get a room at a cheap motel... I found that out New Years Eve at 4:00 AM when "Aaron and Amy" came banging on our room, looking for a light, I was thrilled. And then the "morning after the night before - still drunk - what did I just wake up with?" fights started at 7:00 AM. Friken awesome!
And there is a "slew" about, 100 meters away towards the road, which has rats (yes, RATS), the size of ponies... The location is nothing great, no beach, no shopping, no GOOD restaurants close by.
And don't even get me started on housekeeping - some bright person dumped the instant coffee INTO the kettle, so I asked for a new one. The nice lady was good enough to advise that they didn't have another one, but lemon should clean it right up... Yes, true story... RUN

Large rooms with good amenities dishwasher stoves ovens etc I guess self contained, balcony room we stayed in clean except for the wine glasses that had lip stick marks on all. Concierge was great Ben I think his name was very friendly and willing to help. Located close walking distance to towradgi pub good place to stay if catching a band at the pub overall would stay there again if need be

The rooms were in excellent condition. I booked the one with as spa bath.
Customer service staff were extremely friendly both on check in & check out. 2 staff members went their own way to assist me in securing my room. I honestly can't think of anything against the hotel. Its simply perfect ! Please go try it out , you will love it !! I've been to enough hotels & resorts to give a rating and 8.5 / 10 for these guys. You won't regret it. Oh & price for that value is very reasonable.
