We had the Tuscany Suite booked as a Surprise Birthday Getaway from my parents. After a long drive (with a few breakdowns) we arrived at our destination. However unlike the 'lovely resort, and incredible room' that my mum was promised over the phone, driving into the Eagle Heights Mountain 'resort' felt like we were pulling into a cheap football club....

Having never been to this place before the invite from friends, I was a little bit worried after reading some of the reviews about the food. Firstly it was a public holiday and they charged the extra 15% which is fine if the quality of the food matched, it fell off the cliff behind the restaurant and doesn't look to...

Easter Sunday lunch, was really busy and was warned that meals would take an hour, which they did; but was worth it. The warm beef Thai salad was fantastic. The only disappointment was the "Public Holiday Surcharge". I believe that Easter Friday and Easter Monday are public holidays, but Saturday and Sunday should be a normal weekend. That aside, the...

Invited to lunch at this venue by friends and was looking forward to the day after visiting the Hotel's web site. The day was misty and wet but still plenty of undercover for dining and drinks, in the garden area. Drinks were very reasonably priced and this was a surprise seeing the location. The meals however is where the disappointment...

What can I say but WOW. We nipped in for a drink and sat in the large garden out the back which showed beautiful views of Surfer's Paradise and the Coastline. You can leave the seated garden area and go down into the back area (where they have weddings take place) and see clearer views of the coastline. It's absolutely...

Cathie and her team at Eagle Heights Mountain Resort were outstanding and made our special day perfect! Thank you so much for taking so much care and effort in everything. The food was delicious and the price was excellent... it was the hottest day of the year but nobody skipped a beat and the venue and view are second to...

We stayed in a themed spa room which was Japanese themed We were very impressed with the quality of the room, the spa is big and amazing. The view of the whole gold coast from the balcony is breathtaking. Food was nice I had a $15 T-bone steak which was about as good as it gets for a T-bone. Overall...

During the week they offer meal deals that are pretty good. Meals are tasty and cooked in an appropriate length of time. Fabulous views of the gold coast - best anywhere - and during summer temps can be up to 8 degrees cooler. Sit outside and enjoy a beer with a steak.
