We stayed for 1 night only while traveling from Cairns to Brisbane, but we had an excellent experience at this motel. The managers (or owners, I don't know) were extremely friendly on our check in, suggesting places where we could have dinner and offering to deliver the breakfast (not included) at our room.

I stayed one night and I loved it. I rode in from Cairns on my Harley looking for a good night's rest The room was nice and comfortable. The best part about the stay was the operators. Mike and Petra are some of the nicest people I've met. They're a great and friendly couple.

Michael and Petra were excellent hosts. Mackay is more of a mining town so we didn't expect too much, just hoped for a clean, tidy room with friendly service and that's what we got with the International Lodge. Very nice hosts, very helpful and friendly. We were passing through on our way to Port Douglas and noticed that this hotel...

Double bed, bar fridage, toaster, jug, microwave, flat screen tv, ceiling...

Heading to a smaller regional city for two weeks unbroken work doesn't sound like much fun and it isn't really. However, staying at the International Lodge made it so much easier and enjoyable for me. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, it was like staying with family. My room was clean and comfortable, and very restful once I got...

Just stopped for a night on the way through to Mackay. Owners were excellent and happy to help as best they could. Provided water, fresh milk and even a free ride to the bus station the next day. For the price couldn't recommend it enough!

From the minute you walk into the hotel you are made to feel at home, Petra and Michael are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. Michael is extremely knowledgeable of the local area, there are plenty of restaurants within a close proximity and there is always the offer of delicious home cooked meals. I have stayed...

I stayed here with my partner on the way down the Queensland coast. We were tired after a long days drive from Innisfail. The owners welcomed us and we had free cookies offered to us, very friendly service. The room was clean and comfortable, with free wi-fi so always a plus! Our stay was quick but memorable. If your after...
