Average country motel. Comfortable room. Convenient location, walking distance from center of town and not too far from mine bt a long walk to the hospital may be uncomfortable in summer. Restaurant with reasonable breakfast. No evening meals but will order in fro another motel menu. Friendly staff. In Mt Isa for work so not sure of value for money.

Alan Rackham (guide) gave a very informative tour. Excellent insight into underground mining over the decades with all the hazards experienced by miners. Hands on use of mining gear under supervision. We'll worth a visit to My Isa just for this tour.

The motel was probably what you would expect in Mt Isa, it wasn't what I was expecting for a business trip though, it is more suitable as a trucker stop. It tends to get unsafe at night as some people drink and get noisy and the motel is not staffed at night. They try to keep it clean although fixtures... More

We had to stay in the Isa to wait for mechanical repairs. The RACQ organised our accommodation. Basic, very clean. Aircon nice and quiet. TV microwave and fridge. Off the main highway so no traffic noise. Breakfast available. Staff very friendly and helpful

Basic hotel. like all hotels in this region it is overpriced, especially as it is the off season. Clean rooms. slow internet. TV but we couldn't find the movie channel. Walking distance to shopping street. We had a view of the mine from the street, looks pretty when all lit up.

This place was pretty average, especially for the price. But Mt Isa is hardly a place you'd expect great standards, but I wish I knew what other high dollar hotels were like because you wont leave overly impressed

Rooms were clean and tidy even if the décor is a little tired. Biggest issue was the possums (or rats) in the roof keeping you awake of a night time. Staff were friendly and happy to assist with enquiries.

If you are in Mount Isa a visit to the tourist information Centre for an underground mining tour is a must, the lookout for a sunset and lake moondarra is very relaxing, look out for the kangaroos. The Buff club is classy with great meals and atmosphere.

This is a very worth while tour to gain an insight into how the mining operations are carried out. The guide was a long time employee from the Mt Isa mine and was able to explain the working processes to the members of our group. Visitors are dressed in protective coveralls, hard hat and mining light and are given the... More

We had a great time staying here. Great pool, clean and vibrant rooms, very spacious. Hotel staff very patient polite and accommodating. One of our group found their bed a bit hard. Loved being here so much I stayed! Plenty of room for camper trailers, very close to town, amazingly cheap bar fridge prices!
