We arrived at the motel at 9 am after we checked out from another hotel in the Adelaide CBD. We were way too early to check in. We planned on just asking them to keep our luggage in storage, but surprisingly we straight away get...More
Adelaide was packed full at the time we visited, and we were lucky to find a family room (for four) at this motel.
Surprise 1: There was no price gouging. We were charged a very fair rate give that almost everywhere else was full.
A very neat and tidy motel with friendly staff. Only stayed the one night but it was very comfortable. Our room was at the back of the motel and therefore the noise from the highway was minimal. The door to the room and bathroom need...More

It's about 1.5kms to the middle of Jetty Road at Glenelg - approx 20 minute walk - scenic route is to cross over Anzac Highway and go down one of the side streets till you get to the tram line and follow that to Jetty Road. Probably ~2km to the Glenelg Beach. There are a good selection of restaurants/supermarkets etc on Jetty Road and in the vicinity.
There is a bus stop very close to Adelaide International Motel, which will take you to into Adelaide (CBD) but it could be quicker to walk to the tram stop - I prefer the tram over the bus.
It's about 8.5km from the airport to Motel, about 40 minutes on the bus, and the bus runs once an hour (weekends/evenings are another matter). Adelaide doesn't have the greatest public transport system. Not really sure how close the bus drops you to the door. There might be a better option - airport shuttle (?) if one exists, or a taxi.
