The outside of the house as well as the rooms inside have this special vintage charm. The managers are very friendly. We stayed in the room for three with bathroom and small closet kitchen. It was clean and very nicely decorated. It's own carpark in the backyard is very practical for the travellers and the location is also just few...

Great little place. Room was large and comfortable with most amenities inc mini fridge, microwave, tea/coffee etc. Ample storage and cupboard space if staying longer. Just down the road from Coles supermarket and a very short drive or walk to Charles st (foodies) and centre of town. Friendly staff, quiet atmosphere.

Stayed with family of 6. Booked 2 rooms, house is beautiful, large rooms and our rooms with kitchette and small but adequate ensuite. Booking in was easy and quick. Our rooms were together and this was a couch in between was was ideal for the adults to have pre and post dinner drinks and a chat away from the kids....

The room was very comfortable and clean and will definitely come back again. The stuff was extremely kind and helpful. I wasn't sure where to go for dinner. She recommended us a great place. Also free spirit to taste.

The house is well decorated with old fashioned items. All my friends were welcomed warmly by the lovely manager. The house is not very close to restaurant, but it's just 5 mins driving to the city. It's a nice place to stay again and highly recommended.

It's located within walking distance of restaurants, cafe and grocery stores. Vickie is the consummate host and you feel as though you are a welcome. The Kilmarnock House has been under new management , so is quite different than we stayed a year ago .

The house was very antique and old fashioned. The interior of ensuite was not very clean and housekeeping needs improvement. The parking was not enough. There was no official reception on duty and the staff was not friendly and a bit robotic when dealing with guests.

We stayed here a total of three nights at the beginning and end our honeymoon and were very happy with it. I loved the historical feeling of the house, and the service was LOVELY and so accommodating. Good little kitchenette in the honeymoon suites (we stayed in a different room on our second visit). Good bathrooms, plenty of room to...

The home is gorgeous, parking tight. The ensuite was very small and overall the presentation was a bit stuck in the 1980s. The hosts were very casual - not a very professional outfit. The location was good but Launceston is an odd place - very country town. Industrial/functional meets residential/commercial. Tamar River cruise great and we loved the Cataract Gorge....
