A place that takes you back in time with modern conveniences, beautiful old world furniture and huge rooms. The hosts were most welcoming and made you feel very relaxed. We appreciated having our washing organised for us. The breakfast was another pleasant and relaxing experience. All in all we had a great stay and we would love to return here...

A great stay at Waratah On York. Last minute change of plans we found ourselves in Launceston. Friendly staff quickly organised us a room, which was very comfortable, especially the very comfy 4 poster bed and the spa bath with the view of the lights over the city. After a great nights sleep we were served up a delicious hot...

What a terrific older style hotel, however we stayed in the newer Areca section and found the room to be very comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. Everything was clean and neat and well presented and the continental breakfast was a delight , the second morning we had a cooked breakfast which was more than filling and prepared...

What a fabulous hotel and a fabulous room, everything was perfect and the owners were very helpful. I would happily stay here again. The room was huge, a double shower, corner spa, four post bed, cooked breakfast - the perfect end to our Tassie holiday.

Had booked this place well in advance, booked a spa room as a special treat for my birthday. -When we arrived we found the carpark well below the motel and the steps nearly impossible to negotiate being too steep. With a big suitcase and bags to take in as well,it was a horrid thought. so looking pained the concierge offered...

This Victorian style home was quite nice with plenty of room. However, the weather was very hot during our two day stay and it would have been nice to have air conditioning as the room was very hot and stuffy at night making it hard to sleep. The staff were very attentive to your needs and helpful. The breakfasts were...

The Waratah on York is a little bit out of the CBD of launceston which was a bit of a downfall for us because we had loved the convenience of being in the center of town, but the hotel was nice, grand and well kept. It was a little noisy at night if sleeping right near the window, and some...

This Victorian style was just lovely, very clean and comfortable room to move could have stayed longer. With a modern style on the bathroom very roomy. Only difficulty was getting my heavy suitcase up the stairs for the last night of our stay in Launceston. Great location to all restaurants, which we popped down to the "Metz" for an amazing...
