We stayed for three nights. Our room was very new. Modern facilities. Huge king size bed, massive pillows and towels. Easy parking at the back. Right across from the beautiful city park. It also has a lovely bar downstairs where you can enjoy a drink before a meal in The Titanium Restaurant. 🖒🖒

From the outside looks are deceiving but inside the level of comfort and service from the staff at this hotel. In addition the food at Titanium Restaurant/Bistro was really good and unparalleled in my experience by launceston standards, the wait staff and chefs were extremely professional and good at what they do. If staying I would request floors 1 -2...

We stayed in room 116 which is like a small apartment very clean and modern even a chandelier looking light over a beautiful deep bath. Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only negative was its very noisy with traffic but really if you are staying on a main road you should expect that. The bed was king size...

Stayed there for two weeks on business and loved every minute. The rooms are new and so clean, comfortable bed, and many pillows to choose from. Excellent room service. It's close to everything. It is one of the few Hotels where the photos of the rooms on their website are not from 50 years ago, what you see is what...

Stayed in a room overlooking Brisbane Street. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Small gripes - can't switch (loud) fan off in the bathroom when using it, very irritating. And noisy overlooking the road. Can open windows but too noisy, so need aircon. Wireless was free but not great, dropping in and out. Great position opposite City Park. Okay for...

This is an old and dated hotel with old rusty bathroom fittings, hot water system that made lots of noise in the wardrobe, very old room fittings and set up. Noisy part of town with the traffic and the car park lights shined all night into the room - no blockout curtains here. Car park is right next to all...

We were led to believe we were staying in Mercure Launceston. We associate the Mercure name with a certain, reasonable standard. However we were extremely disappointed with our stay here. Our room was so dirty. The carpet was covered in stains and grime. There were pubic hairs on the flannels and engrained dirt around the tap and light fixtures. There...

Stayed there for one night. The hotel has two buildings. One is the Mercure building, we have stayed at the other building. The room smells and even the pillow smells too. Our room is very noisy, as the cars are parked right downstairs. You could even hear people talking when they step outside their cars. Location wise it's pretty good,...

Is very dated and small. If your just looking for somewhere to sleep overnight it will be just fine. Management needs to update their breakfast menu's so you can actually read them. They look like they've been in the same room for 10 years.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Management is aware of this, the breakfast menu has recently been edited and is due to be printed and replaced in the Bistro and all hotel rooms. I am sorry you found our complex to be out-dated and not large in size. Our hotel rooms have been under a 3-5 year renovation program. The...

We flew in from Melbourne and stayed at this Mercure hotel for two nights before heading to the East coast. The hotel does not much offer frills but we had a comfortable stay and would recommend it for the price. The hotel is within walking distance to the town centre (Launceston is small), and to a convenience store as well...
