Stayed for two nights at the Village Family Motor Inn, a good location just outside the city centre. The rooms had all you needed but were a little dated. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. They have delicious wood fired pizza, if you want to have dinner in your room. Overall a good experience.

The best pizza and desserts in Launceston, genuinely friendly service and that view... The restaurant here makes really, really, really good wood-fired pizzas. I'm a local resident and a return customer. You can tell they make their own bases and have thought about the flavours. As a vegetarian, I'm delighted by the delicious range of choice. The spinaci and quatro...

A lovely stay in very comfortable beds with a view over the valley to the Tamar River in the distance. The breakfast was welcome & even though simple, cereals & toast was appreciated. Our evening meals in the restaurant, especially the table by the window in the bar area was excellent, wonderful cooking & beautifully presented, delicious. The pizza oven...

I read reviews saying this was a great place but found it to be the worst place I have been in 20 years and over 100 motels and hotels. I feel very mislead by the reviews and ratings and will take this further because this is not okay! To top everything off the complimentary breakfast that came with our over...

The room was spacious, clean, neat and tidy a bit dated but still comfortable. Liked being able to have a door out onto a balcony with lovely views. Continental breakfast was included in the price. Also has a laundry which was a plus. Would go back and stay again

We chose this property for the location to the airport, needing a quick trip in the early hours. This has to be the worst experience of our travelling life to date. We checked in and were welcomed by a lovely lady in reception - went to our room which was VERY average - smelly, dirty and in desperate need of...

We stayed here the first night of our 4 week tour of Tasmania this month and were really happy with our room including the spectacular view over Launceston. The room was clean, neat, and tidy and quite spacious. Being able to park our car right at the door was a bonus. The continental breakfast was quite adequate. Would most certainly...

We were made very welcome and the service was all you would expect. Our room was spacious, had everything we needed and was really clean and well presented. A magical plus was a lovely view from our balcony. The evening meals and breakfast completed an overall excellent stay.

Staying here was a delight! The owners were more than accommodating, going the extra mile for anything i needed. My room had a beautiful view of the Tamar Valley which i loved waking up to and watching the sun set through at night. The room itself was clean and comfortable, exactly what you would expect for the price paid. The...

As motel goes, it was ok and we got a reasonable nights sleep if you can ignore the traffic noise. The breakfast was included but very limited in choice and the most expensive boiled eggs on the planet. They wanted $3 per egg and that is a whopping mark up when you can by 12 for $4 in the shop,...
