It was a nice treat to stay in a historic building that was different to the usual boring motel. Very nicely decorated and clean. Walls are a bit thin and we could hear people walking around in the room above us, but otherwise a lovely stays dry nice lookout over the city. Good location close to everything

What a delightful setting, building was a nuns home once upon a time. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Close enough to city centre, many restaurants nearby. Nothing nearby in the way of convenience stores, so buy what you need whilst out & about. Overall a pleasant place to stay.

I chose the Auldington because it was quite central and looked a lovely old building. It was easy to find from the highway from Hobart and the welcome was genuinely friendly. The real surprise was my room, which was beautifully styled in contemporary decor, with a lovely modern bathroom complete with bath and separate walk-in shower cubicle. The contrast with...

The former convent is situated conveniently close to the main town and is in a quiet location. There are ample gardens and the roses were in full bloom. The receptionist was very friendly and gave us lots of information about dining options. The room (Room 28) was large and comfortable. Our windows opened on to the balcony and we had...

This was a lovely place to stay. The room was bright and airy with its own verandah. The view of the city and hills was lovely. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. Would highly recommend. It was very easy to locate from the airport and had free parking.

Awesome gem hidden at the back of Launceston. Wish I had booked the top floor room with a view. Appointments were 1st class and the owner super helpful with food suggestions. Even had local diner menus filed for reference. Would recommend this hotel

A well located private hotel in the centre of Launceston. The rooms were clean with modern furnishings. We stayed for 3 nights. The staff were all friendly and helpful and if we were in the area would stay here again. The only 1 downside was that we had to go off site for breakfasts and this made it feel a...

After always staying at another establishment in Launceston, but put off by ongoing construction works there, I did a bit of online research and found this lovely gem of a hotel. From my initial phone contact to check out, the staff could not be be more helpful and professional. The hotel, which is well located to the Gorge, Seaport and...

Well located and very well presented accommodation . Rooms very clean with modern furnishings. Nice views across Launceston from verandah and rooms we were allocated. This old building has great character and the conversion to accommodation has been very well done. Staff very helpful. Also has lift.
