I was just looking for a one night stop off place and this was perfect for that. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy. Its a 5 minute walk from shops and is just off the main road. Recommended.
Exactly the type of accommodations we fined to our liking. Easy check in, parking by the room…Clean, excellent water pressure and comfortable beds! Ease of coming and going as well as close to a supermarket!
Very average motel, no more than expected and no less. Bit rough around the edges but large comfortable bed and a nice shower. The rooms could be so much better but I guess Bairnsdale is mainly a stop off place on the way to elsewhere, so not worth the investment. OK one night stay but wouldn't want to stay longer
Last minute booking. Good price. Rooms are older style and simply decked out. All the mod cons, AC, TV, Microwave, kettle. Could use a reno and heavier curtains. Plenty of parking and is away from road noise. Bed was bit tired.
One night stay while travelling for work. Clean, convenient main road location, had everything I needed and the most enormous spa bath (which was the main reason I chose this hotel). To call the room a suite was a bit of a stretch. TV, bed, sofa and small dining setting were all squeezed into one space. Bathroom (weirdly) is spread through 3 spaces. Bath in one, sink with microwave, fridge and broken wardrobe in another, shower (with screen that can't open when the door is closed) is with the toilet. Heating worked fine, though was a little noisy. Bedside lamps didn't work but bed and pillows were comfy. There are two internet log ins if one doesn't work for you try the other. This was perfectly fine for a one night stay - not ideal for a family holiday.
This motel is centrally located. It is a bit on the old side, which I knew when I booked it and didn't mind. What was disappointing was that the main bed was rock hard, none of the electric blankets worked and there were cockroaches in the room. Other than that the room was clean and tidy, enough for an overnight stay. Although, I must have pissed someone off, literally, as when I came out in the morning, someone had peed on the mat outside my door. I would stay again though, after a refurb and if I had a room further back from the highway.
Do not be put off by the somewhat old appearance on the outside. The room was spotless well laid out and everything worked. No surcharge for having our dog in our room. Convenient location with 300m walk to central Bairnsdale.
Thoroughly enjoyed my two nights here, with my two Labradors. King size bed, very clean and comfy, bathroom/kitchen combined, well ‘stocked’. Within walking distance of main shops. You have to bring your dogs bedding, of course. Great Owners!!! Totally recommend this motel
Yes, it’s tired and could do with updating but is very clean and I’m a bit of a clean freak, in a central location but most of all you are welcome to bring your furry family member with you at no extra cost. Would definitely stay again.
Stayed a night on the way through due to being tired. To start the shower may be the best I ever had, new giant square head with more water than any other shower I have ever had. It goes down a bit from there. The beds are hard and old, the TV is old and doesn't pick up the digital channels and the movie channels so dark you can't watch them. No breakfast options that we could find, but not too far from the golden arches for a walk. No frills amenities, and those bloody small tea cups from the 60's, hate them, you have to have 2 cups. The price is not too bad, but we won't be back.
