This motel isn't worth the $115 a night we were charged. The staff are lovely and welcoming. However the room was dirty, the shower had mold in the grout and the toilet seat didn't fit. The air con is preset and you can't change it to your liking. The bed was ok but the room is filled with a queen...

100% sure we left something in the room even knew the location of said item. Was told by staff that no one had stayed in room since. Funnily enough it wasn't there. Will never stay again and will warn others for our yearly trip. From the moment we walked in things weren't clean, the severe smell of dust while laying...

Very peaceful and quiet location although not far from the city and located on a fairly busy road. Room only, but you can order a continental breakfast at an extra cost. Has been a change of management, who seem very friendly although sometimes a little short in customer service. The disappointment for me in this day and age there is no...

The best thing was the price really. We had cold weather (in summer) when we visited, and they really had no heating option, so we were very cold. A microwave would have been useful, and a little more cutlery. The morning traffic noise was a bit disturbing for me. I probably wouldn't stay there again to be honest.

For a motel with good reviews it was a Hugh disappointment. The staff seemed friendly but that is where the good points end. Don't expect breakfast at this accommodation as they don't do breakfast, not even continental. The rooms are very basic, the shower recess has its own mineshaft heading to the drain hole. On glazed tiles it makes it...

My family and I have used Miner's Reteat ever since we started visiting Ballarat many years ago. The last couple of times I've stayed at the motel, I have gotten a fair rate for someone staying on their own for two nights. The room I have had on both these solo occasions has been clean, and this year, I asked...

Definitely just looking for a bed for the night, located close to Sovereign Hill for their Christmas in July, Winter lights. Found this Motel on Agoda, last minute and got what I considered a great price for a bed for one night. This Budget chain motel room, was dated in decor and the motel room is a little bit tired....
