Decided to stay with comfort inn after reading the reviews. However, we are somewhat disappointed with the stay. The room light was not working when we checked in. When we informed the reception, we were told that the maintenance was already off duty, and that was at 4pm. They then promised to check if the manager could fix the lights....

Stayed in the Superintendent cottage at the Comfort Inn for 2 nights, the staff were very helpful and the room so comfy and clean. The buffet breakfasts were good, a little disappointed that there was no room service for an evening meal when staying over one night. The views and access into Sovereign Hill was fantastic. Would recommend this facilities...

Firstly when I rang to book I dealt with Sally. Sally was professional and generous. We were upgraded as there was a room spare, and we were offered an early check in. The room itself was lovely. Tastefully decorated and the bed was super comfortable. We had a great nights sleep. The only thing I wasn't happy about was the...

Best hotel in Ballarat by far. Don't look any further. Staring with checking in, a special mention here has to go to Sally who went out of her way to make us feel at home. A treasure. Our room was upgraded to a spa room free of charge. The room itself was clean and spacious. Huge bed. Dinner that night was...

Stayed in the Governors Room (55) for one night, the room was small but visually appealing. The beds were somewhat comfortable, but appeared to be rather old as you could hear the springs "crunch" with every slight move. Access to sovereign hill itself was an additional charge however this charge allowed access on both day of arrival and departure, and...

This Inn was great. The best thing was its close proximity to the Sovereign Hill site. We thoroughly enjoyed the Light & Sound Spectacular at night and then did not have far to go at all to get to our room. The evening meal was delicious and the breakfast the next day was absolutely scrumptious. Staff were all friendly, cheerful...

Close to the action, this charming hotel is well located and appointed for an Inn. The breakfast was especially delightful with portions of mushrooms, bacon, eggs, tomatoes served on little "pans" large enough for breakfast but not too much to over indulge.
